This is all leading up to Tim writing a completely fictional post about a nonexistent White Sox player. Or maybe this is that post. Who would know?

Oh .... not your cat. Sorry, we didn’t know you’d be reading this article.
I love the theory that humans domesticated dogs, and cats domesticated humans. I may be oversimplifying that but who cares.
I tend to pack too much tech. My laptop, tablet, extra chargers, etc., are so essential to my workday life that I just bring them automatically. But on vacation they’re pretty much left idle unless I make a point of using them to justify having brought them. Of course I know deep down if I ever leave them at home,…
Our intense weirdos can actually do good when they’re pointed in the right direction. Go be intense and weird and help get people the legal help they need, Jimbo!
Times like this make you miss Hector Noesi. Just kidding, no one misses Hector Noesi.
Only Paul Ryan could have managed such a coup, wringing a spectacular defeat from the jaws of victory.
I love your analysis because it really drives home what a massive miscalculation this whole fiasco was for the GOP. There was no scenario where they got a happy ending out of it.
Big news yesterday on a potential trade of Dave Robertson, word is that the Sox and the Nationals haven’t communicated on the topic in about two months. I’m sure more details on this lack of communication will be forthcoming as the two teams continue to not talk about a trade.
With you on this all the way. I thank the stars that my formerly GOP-leaning family members drew the line at voting for Trump, because it would’ve been soul-crushing to cut them out of my life, but I would’ve done it. They were among the very small number for whom Trump exposed what the GOP really was all along.
The upshot of all of those contradictions is that they don’t want women making any kind of decisions at all, because whatever decision you make is automatically wrong. So just do what your husband tells you, he knows best anyway.
They want woman to accept that they’re property, not people. That’s what they want. Any woman who tries to assert her humanity is going to clash with the GOP.
To be fair, 90% of Mets fans and probably a third of the players hate the Mets.
But then the Redact-o-Matic computer becomes filled with rage because it has to hear everything, then evolves into Skynet and wipes us out. Which is only what we deserve anyway.
The flip side is that you get some Republicans saying, “A flawed or partial repeal is better than no repeal, and if we don’t get it done now, the ACA will survive indefinitely.” So the attempt to frame it as AHCA vs. some theoretical better repeal option gets recast as AHCA vs. ACA.
I’d say that when confronted by a no-win scenario, you should go with your conscience and do what’s right for the greatest number of people possible, but these vaguely human-shaped anal warts don’t have a conscience, so that doesn’t help them much.
In the years between Hiroshima and the Cuban Missile crisis, large-scale nuclear war was not only a theoretical possibility, but something that was contemplated as likely and perhaps even inevitable. The facts are that two atomic bombs were used in wartime, that many more nations developed the capability in the…
It’s just a shame that news of this magnitude has to be relegated to a mere comment. I come to Deadspin for in-depth White Sox news, and yet somehow they miss this story? I question their commitment.
Trump: “Five writers? Easy! Anne Coulter, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, ... ummm ... Shakespeare? ... ummmm ... oh, and me! Go buy “The Art of the Deal,” I wrote it, all by myself, and it’s quite good, a very good book.”
But both of those pieces of evidence are in support of the initial sentence:
