Excellent points, across the board. From my perspective, it was incumbent upon Trump to prove the morning of Jan. 20 that he was NOT in violation of the emoluments clause. Every day that he reigns without clearing up that issue is a day that he is an illegitimate president and should be removed.

I sympathize with your situation. I think your best bet then is to support these strikes however you can, even if it’s just by encouraging others to take part, and then look for other ways to register your opinions. This strike is just one of many avenues.

There will always be a diversity of opinion on issues like these. If you’re guaranteed that inaction and action are just as likely to draw ire, then I favor action.

Unless I get a clear signal that men should not take part, my default is that Ill be taking part in support of women’s rights.

This is just one prong of the protest effort. Folks who can’t take part in the strike will have many, many other opportunities.
