It seems weird to me that a candidate would wait in line. Campaigning is generally not allowed inside of polling places. In DC, if you’re wearing a pin for a candidate, you have to remove it, for example. So the actual candidate being inside of the polling place would seem to violate the spirit of “no campaigning”.…
