I just can’t understand the crowd who would say, “Trump just wants to have people around him he can trust.” To excuse the blatant nepotism that is on display here.

This is a presidency, in a democratic country. That kind of behavior isn’t normal, it’s something straight out of a monarchy. Trump’s family should not be involved in any way with the government, but they are, because they’re corrupt as can be and no one is stopping them.

I’d be happy if they both left knives in each other’s spleens. The white house does not need John Kelly organizing them into a fascist military force - I prefer my would-be dictators inept and floundering, thank you kindly. And also Jared reminds me of BvS’ Lex Luthor with slightly better managed hair. Having that…

Nah. I had plenty of guys in the service with me who wouldn’t let someone declare themselves dictator. Even if they weren’t all liberals, there are plenty of decent people who meant what they swore about “defending the country against all enemies foreign and domestic.”
