Several developers have come forward on social media to point out that the way the AAA industry works, no one who worked on Hogwarts Legacy is going to get any extra money based on how the game sells. You’re mistaken. It’s the developers of this game who have already been paid. You could preorder 1,000 copies and the actual workers won’t see any benefit. Can you guess who is receiving royalties despite having little-to-no involvement in this game’s production?

The original lead developer was a GamerGate chud, and the current developers invented a trans character with a cringey name for the sole purpose of deflecting criticism. Plus there’s the fact that the game is about fighting a race that’s a Jewish stereotype. Many of the devs do share her views.
