I’ve got multiple projects going simultaneously. I took off the exhaust on my 997 911, replaced the plugs and coils, since I had the mufflers off, I took them and had the Fister mod done by a local exhaust shop. (partial muffler bypass).

That movie is fucking DELIGHTFUL.

I’m building a new house and I designed the media room to be in the middle where there are no windows for this exact reason. My current living room has one of those open-to-the second floor things going on with a huge window up on that second story wall and every day, from 5-7 during daylight savings, the sun shines

My first day at medical school:

I haven’t seen this fantastic movie in many, many years, but def going to cue it up for myself and the kids asap.

I have thus decided that as soon as this COVID situation is lifted, I’m going to drive as close as possible to a body of water for the sole purpose of staring pensively off into the middle distance over the roof of my conveyance.

Survivor bias, reporting in, sir!

Dat Zeus Bronze, with camel interior....

You can tell it’s a genuine Aston Martin because the gap between the hood and fender is about an inch on on side and 1mm on the other.

As a fellow hospital critical care physician who games avidly, this felt incredibly parallel to my own life, with the exception of the degree of COVID-19 where I live (Portland OR area). Fantastic writing. I felt it.

My biggest peeve with the movie was putting the Iron “I am not a gun” Giant in the movie as an ass-kicking war machine.

Is the 2.0t still a terrible oil-burning mess that produces a whopping 180 hp?

I grew up in the deep dirty impoverished south where if you didn’t drive a pick-up, you were suspect, unless it was a dirt-leg hot-rod - mostly either a firebird or 2nd or 3rd generation Camaro. Some old ratty mustangs here and there. A corvette would be considered an exotic thing to own.

Yes, the IMS sits without use, the seals dry out, crack, and the unit fails. The ones that get driven seem to survive just fine. People sometimes forget that Porsche built these cars to be driven and used.

I’m loving all the backlash against the woo.

I’m loving all the backlash against the woo.

All this car DNA mentioned and all I see is 991 era Porsche take on a Taycan. Which isn’t a bad thing, the 991 was a lovely car marred by bad headlamps and blah interior. I like it. A lot.

There seemed to be a surprising amount of clipping, wrecked car perpindicular on the track, car on the track passes right through the vehicle without collision. Pulling into pit and car passes through another.

I am an avid gamer but have never tried a VR headset as of yet. But your story did remind me of a similar effect I had after seeing “Avatar” on a truly enormous IMAX screen at a museum that did theatrical showings in the evenings. The 3D was so immersive and everything was so vivid that I had a hard time adjusting to

Ooh, that Control DLC is coming. My favorite new IP. Bells on toes, y’all.
