I think I may have been bummed out more about Summer than Hodor. Hodor’s sacrifice at least had a tangible contribution. The moment I saw Summer growling and rearing up to spring, my heart sunk. I just thought he was going to pointlessly get carved up and that’s pretty much what happened. Very depressing.

Seriously, I was like “Was this supposed to play as comedy?”

Oh no! Yara and Theon made off with most of the Iron Fleet!

Let’s...er...build some more ships. ONE THOUSAND SHIPS! And then go after them!

Wait...won’t Yara’s fleet be long, long gone by the time they’re done building those ships...from scratch?

I think that this just shows that D&D have something against wolves in general. They rarely show Ghost. They’ve killed off Shaggy, Lady, Summer and Nymeria is MIA. It’s just a shame that they rather spend the money on the Dragons than the wolves.

Summer nooo! Direwolves were most interesting thing about the books when I started reading and now we are down to two, Ghost and Nymeria. Both are pretty interesting out of the Direwolves but we haven’t even got to see Nymeria and her wolf armies.

I just started UnReal, which is fulfilling my trashy hour-long drama quota for the week. Women’s Studies major ends up as a producer on a dating show, which sounds like a comedy, until she has a mental breakdown and her bosses blackmail her to keep her on their team.

I didn’t really like Breaking Bad (gasp!) but Better Call Saul is flipping great!

Watched T.J. Miller in Nashville tonight. He mentioned an HBO special in September!

Dude needs to get himself extricated from Cersei’s bullshit first.

You’ve just passed Aunt Sally’s Pecan Pralines. The Cousin Ernie episode where Lucy gets dressed up as a Wicked City Woman to scare him off to go home is pretty funny.

I kinda want him to come up against Brienne and he does all his tiresome “look at how crazy and badass I am” posturing bullshit and she just puts her sword through his neck without waiting for him to finish.

Steven Universe is finally back on which I’m happy about, but with the way the network keeps messing with its schedule I’m expecting it go on hiatus again for another 4353465633465 months after this current batch of episodes is done.

LANA IS THE BEST CHARACTER.

Hey guys,

Any ID episodes that you particularly recommend?

60 days in I need to try. Sounds intriguing. Also true detective. I’m lost without my better call saul.

Now playing

I’m honestly OBSESSED with ‘Detectorists’, a British comedy that never fails to charm the viewer. It’s not hyperbole to say the program is brilliant!! Bonus: excellent soundtrack provided by the unbelievably talented Johnny Flynn:

Just finished Season 2 of Happy Valley on Netflix. I loveloveloved that show. Older female cop who is both badass and incredibly human? Yes. And I really enjoyed The Night Manager (I may or may not have watched the whole thing 1.5 times...)

We DVR the hell out of Sunday nights and get the rest on demand. Sunday night TV sustains us through the week.

I am all about the Brienne swagger. She told Davos and the Melisandre that she killed Stannis all “Your move. Yeah. I didn’t think so.”
