I know! That’s why I’m going back to school. I also think you should look into finding a new job/career, especially if you have solid references from before this job. If you can’t quit, it’ll at least help you tremendously to change environments.

What is everyone reading?

I am seeking treatment for my chronic anxiety and stress, largely due to work. I’ve lost a TON of weight (like 15+ pounds in since June) which on me, who had already arguably lost enough to begin with, was a bit much. I’m also little so I now look pretty skinny.

oh good lord I need that recipe. that sounds mouthwatering.

I cheat on the socialization because my social life is my husband and texting/calling friends and family (long-distance from everyone), but I workout by walking the dog, hitting the personal training gym, or heading to ballet class.

That’s amazing! I’m so happy for you! I hope when you return you have as much of an awesome time as you already did.

Thank you in advance for reading my screed.

Well, my husband’s job opportunities will help me whittle down any schools I’m not sure about since we can’t be too rural for him either. I’m eager to move back and be closer to my family, but I’m also considering some schools that aren’t local for them. Ultimately I may chop them off of my list because I’m not sure

I know what I’m in for, but thanks for the advice. I’ve been working on my list since the beginning of the application cycle for 2016 and I am not even applying until this fall. I checked for the supplements and all of that so I think I’m prepared. I was just checking to see the range for others before I start asking

Thanks for the advice! I’m 100% certain that this is what I want to do. I’ve spoken to admissions officers, professors, family, friends, etc. I have a wonderful idea that is unique and is needed, and I am very eager to get back to school and get to work on my studies.

I’m black in here for some reason but am normally grey. Not sure what’s happening, but maybe it’s a trend that will continue.

I may add that to my Netflix list. Thanks for the rec!

I’m going to the east coast in February or March to visit family and look at schools. It isn’t quite traveling but I’m still really stoked to do it!

I am definitely doing this once I get my energy back. This looks delicious. Will sub in some ground chicken meatballs for the sausage though.

I think that will be the next round of emails I send to admissions reps. Sources of funding, particularly for the Master’s programs I’m applying to, have me concerned.

Thanks, I’ve pretty much narrowed down all of the information you suggested. My list sounds large because I tend to stretch myself (did the same for college) and then enjoy taking my time to figure out which school fits me the best. The problem is that a lot of the schools are too competitive for me to just apply to a

So right now I’m fighting with myself because I have several schools on my list that are highly ranked, would give me a good education but where I see myself being absolutely miserable (due to the location) if we ended up moving there. I should get rid of them, but I still want to make sure I have enough choices.

That seriously sounds amazing. I’m dying to buy a pasta machine too and you’ve inspired me with this recipe.

I’m ten years out of undergrad and my concentration in grad school is a completely different field than undergrad. I will speak to my professors who are currently teaching me though. I need to speak to my recommender about a research project anyway.

I have tons of cute flats and boots from Marshall’s, White House Black Market, Forever 21, and a few other places. When I feel friskier, I wear my flats in and switch up to some cute heels (not stilettos, but stacked boot heels and some awesome pumps) for a bit of a change. In the winter, I keep things pretty basic
