I'm with you. These movies are indefensible nonsense. No charm, no brain, no heart.

I'm no vegetarian, peeps, but I stopped eating these guys. They're just too smart... Squids, however? Big dummies.

Well, to be fair, he didn't direct Cloverfield and had a limited role with LOST once it was up and running.

I'd say books 1 - 4 are solid...then the torment and slow train wreck begins. And if you didn't like the framework of the 2nd book, lordy be, you won't like where it goes. Stephen King has often claimed he doesn't plan ahead, he just writes. The lack of an outline really hurt this series, in my opinion.

Two things...

I don't think there's any obligation contractually for the actors beyond what the story dictates. Theon (whether his storyline is good or not) is a major part of the later books. I'm sure all the story arcs are developed long in advance and the actors are cast accordingly and for a preset amount of time.

Ha! What a disappointing ending to a brilliant show. I'd say, much more than breaking its own rules, it completely betrayed its characters. All their motives and personalities changed during that last season, and especially that last episode...and not due to character growth, but bad writing.

I'd say more than just the Wii U logo is "shit." Is he not seeing the rest of that atrocious design and artwork?

I noticed in the Yosemite beta, if you option-click the green button it becomes maximize again, not fullscreen. So it's not totally gone luckily. And it seems some applications still have the + instead of fullscreen.

Haha. I was just being helpful. As for screen size, we know that upgrade is coming in September. Regarding "go back," I'm not sure what you mean. There's the back arrow in the upper left corner or, even better, you can just swipe back from the edge of any screen.

iOS 8 allows installing 3rd party keyboards.

Aww, bless your little heart.

This is a choice that's up to the developers. They dictate whether audio can continue to play on an app by app basis. iOS is capable of doing this with no problem, but it's the dev's choice when it comes to their own app.

It MIGHT only work through Safari, but I'm not sure... I know the OS is capable of it though, like controlling Pandora or the NPR app through Control Center...

Guys, you know how Android updates don't apply to iOS users...and Microsoft updates don't apply to Mac users? well, it's the same thing here...only reversed. See? So don't be shocked and angered that an APPLE presentation doesn't offer Android and Windows users awesome new features...

Dropbox is similar to iCloud Drive. Mail Drop is something different and is actually pretty cool. It's a way to send files that are up to 5 gigs in size.

GV does not run at a system-wide level and you can't bounce calls between devices mid-call. This solution is more elegant, I'd say. Iteration on an idea, but a good iteration...

You can already listen to just YouTube audio. Start a YouTube clip in Safari, hit the home button, then swipe up on Control Center and hit play. Now just YouTube audio will play in the background.

I concur. Check out The Fall. It's really good...and she's doing an English accent.

Same experience in the theater where I saw it. Gut-wrenching.
