I just don't see how he's still alive in this version of the story. If I was Toranaga I'd have killed him myself by episode five.

I’ve watched the whole thing but I never got into it at all. I enjoy Japanese films and about a year ago I watched the original Shogun just because it features Mifune. Whatever problems it had, white saviour and all, I found it far more entertaining and exciting than this version in which Blackthorne seems slightly…
If we all agree, can we never have another article related to the Bachelor on AVC again?
...and nothing to say
I’m sad this mainstay of my life, minus the six year gap, is over. I can’t believe how young Larry looked in the early episodes, but I’m in my fourth different home since I first saw the first one (on BBC 4, which seems bizarre in retrospect). The finale was fun and silly, as I expected.
David has previously been asked if he is concerned about “alienating” conservatives with jokes about Trump his supporters. The comedian and co-Seinfeld creator replied: “Alienate yourselves! Go, go and alienate! You have my blessing”, before adding: “No, I could give a fuck.”
defeats the purpose of a review.
Is AVClub going to cost $8 a month post-Paste?
...unless you want to make it clear that the dashes were there in the original quotation and not added when you reproduced it.
We got through one episode of this without managing to fall asleep and I swore off it. It was just too slow and dull.
I enjoyed the original series, which I watched for the first time about a year ago, because it was exciting, interesting, and it had MIFUNE. White saviour and all, it was at least swashbuckling TV.
Nothing on AVClub is a new story, it’s all about TV shows, and adults pretending for money and who was on SNL that week. But within the context of TV shows and adults pretending for money (etc.) one of said adults acting like a massively unpleasant, abusive child is as much news as who was on SNL that week.
Mine too. I loved that episode.
Ironically, something Prime Video do consistently (and which I usually get more out of than their original stuff).
This seems a lot more complicated than MSN Messenger.
It’s doubtless nowhere near the best but as a favourite, nothing for me will beat playing through Super Mario Land on a borrowed gameboy in the early 90s, and then playing through the harder version you get after you complete it first time round. Super Mario Land II is a fantastic game too.
What I saw of it wasn't quite up to the level of mediocre.
Ha ha! You made a mistake!
I found Barbie enjoyable, though a tad too long. Despite being a big fan of sci-fi I found Rebel Moon incredibly dull* and not at all enjoyable.
Nuke them from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
