You say that, but the writing in terms of complexity and cleverness on Dangermouse, Count Duckula or Maid Marian and Her Merry Men, is far above the turgid obviousness of Big Bang Theory or Two and A Half Men (the same fucking show as BBM in a different skin).

I watched Annihilation on Netflix. Coming after that recent Bryan Cranston-starring episode of Electric Dreams, the ending felt a bit predictable. It was okay, didn’t love it. Surprised to read that some critics consider it a masterpiece.

You think he’s portrayed as hero? Maybe for the first couple of episodes but very quickly it’s clear he’s gone over the edge and by the end even his son has realised he’s a dangerous criminal. White remains the protagonist through but far from heroic.
