Embiid’s defense is actually pretty solid, but I don’t think he’s playing enough minutes for it to matter at this point. His rim protection was pretty good against the CAVS for the most part. Had a nice block on JR at one point too.

No reason he shouldn’t be using those skills closer to the basket. And then forcing big men out the paint to guard him. He’s 7'3" so he’s Got size on most everyone.
