You may say no one has infinite money, while that is true it is nearly infinite money. The Koch brothers are worth billions, just the tip of the conservatives funding iceberg. They are the ones that make the rules for the big corporations, it's a hand in pocket deal.

And yet here we are still blaming Bernie bros for Hillary’s loss.

Ok, I get that this is Splinter where anyone to the right of Bernie Sanders is a fascist or a corporate stooge but do you really think even a symbolic challenge to Trump from a moderate Republican is a bad thing?

Any chance to make Trump talk about his own dick again during a nationally televised primary debate, I’ll take. Have at it Kasich, there is no down part to you and Trump flingin’ shit at eachother for 6 months.

If the party is dumping so much money into the presidential general they will have less for house and senate races. Money is a finite resource. If Trump looks less likely to win he will receive less donations because the big donors will see its a risky investment. I don’t think it’s helpful to be reductive about

A lot of money ≠ infinite money.

Yeah, I don’t understand why this article is so snarky. Kasich likely stands no chance in a primary but any opposition to Trump is a good thing.

I can guarantee you no one has infinite money and I think a lot of conservatives  would argue that Perot cost them the 1992 election.

Cool. Make Trump burn through some of his war chest fighting his own side and let Kasich confuse the centerists enough that Trump can’t get the votes he needs to win the general election. Any fracturing of the conservative party benefits progressives.

Oh golly I sure hope Urban’s new conveniently timed medical excuse doesn’t impede his efforts to ignore domestic violence

I was routinely making jokes about the “anger cyst” by the end of the game. They talked about it like it was a hulk cyst waiting to erupt upon any rage.

Maybe when you turn 45 in February you’ll figure out what’s going on.

Enablers of abusers are also scum.

No one is accusing him of abusing women, champ. What he did was help someone else escape even the slightest consequences of abusing a woman.

maybe it’s always been this way, but it sure seems as the the ncaa (and by default, it’s broadcast partners) need ohio st football more than ohio st needs the ncaa.  of the 120+ schools that boast a d1 football program, there are probably only 5-10 that could get this kind of handjob on national tv.

A lot of these coaches have gotten a pass for all of time by just shrugging their shoulders and pretending to not know. Now that people are starting to hold them accountable for things they clearly do know or clearly *should* know - it’s somehow unfair.

Couldn’t believe it when I heard it, especially when they showed his wife crying, and talked about all the mean things that had been written and said.

EVen if he wasn’t chasing the shooter. He could have had the gun out and have been fleeing, because , you know, someone was shooting people.

Which is why the whole idea of good guys with guns acting like superheros to stop bad guys with guns is a load of bollocks. The police arriving at the scene of a shooting has no way of distinguishing good guys from bad guys, and no time to be figuring it all out. So, they let their implicit bias (or explicit bias aka

In the next day or two, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out Bradford was being a hero, a good guy with a gun chasing the actual gunman. But, you know, he was black, so by definition, not a good guy.
