Can we include Transport Minister, so I can nominate the Rt Hon J. Clarkson?

NP. The old man had a 760 when I was a kid, so any of these will tug on the old heartstrings. Also, props for the StrongBad reference. I'm off for a glass of Sudsuu.

Squeeeeee!

I spent my teenage years in a series of Silvias (not mine, but I had at least 3 friends who had Silvias at some stage), and did my first drift in my friends SR20DET equipped S14 K Silvia, so for that reason (plus its overall awesomeness), NP.

I wouldn't have thought "intentionally" was the right word. Maybe "apathetically"?

It says a lot about where Chrysler was that the Italians came in and IMPROVED quality control.

Would explain why the windscreen was replaced.

This was in STUNTS. Good game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stunts_%28video_game%29#Vehicles

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the George Barris Batmobile has ever been in a video game.

Wow! I had a Matchbox (I think) toy of the Ahrens-Fox when I was a kid. You just answered a 25 year old question for me. Now if someone can tell me why Mr. Cooper from next door spent all that time in his shed, I can die a happy man.

Nissan Pivo concept. It can shake its head!

I don't know globally, but in Australia and New Zealand its pretty common. Apparently they will betrying to phase it out in the next few years. Can't find anything mentioning it for sale in any LHD markets, though.

Yeah, you don't see people taking a 200 series on a safari. Too huge and complicated, and all the equipment would mess up the leather. I like that Toyota knows this, so they still make the 70 series. Mum drove a 70 Series Prado after we sold the VX. Almost as capable off-road, seated the same amount, less luxury, but

Fair enough. When I was a kid my step-dad had a Vogue of roughly this vintage, so I may be prone to hyperbole. And in fairness, we replaced it with an 80 Series LandCruiser VX LTD, which was probably as, if not more capable. Not so luxury though.

EFI, straight body, tidy insides and still the most capable luxury off-roader ever built. NP.

Rolls-Royce Phantom II Fire Engine from 1930

Look, the real Queen! Really driving her real Range Rover! Rule Brittania!

Unnecessary downshifts when entering a tunnel, combined with winding down the window (fumes be damned!).

They won't give you shit for driving an MX-5.

I think given the nouveau-riche fuckwits that the Continental attracts these days, this will be very popular among the upper classes that wish to drive themselves. Until Kim Kardashian buys one.
