Considering the government is only buying the plane, not building it, maybe we should be asking if we can trust private companies to handle health care. 

People pay a lot more to cosplay as race car drivers.

Or the entire notion that regulatory bodies delegate best practices and self-regulation to the largest firms in the industry, then hope for the best.
