Cheaper, easier to find, can buy parts anywhere, want to put a small block in it, etc.

I’m always surprised at luxury cars that aren’t available with a sunroof. Especially ones where platform mates do offer them.
The dealership I work with does a ton of subprime financing on used inventory, and they won’t even entertain meetings with Santander reps when they’re in town.
Traded it in and started a whole spec racing league.
Yeah it’s my mom’s Cooper S. She has cooler cars than i do.
What you need is a two car garage with a 3 car garage stuck to the front that has 15ft ceilings and a pass though to a wrap around parking pad out back. Also the two car garage has a full machine shop with a Cincinnati mill in it. If you're gonna work from home, you gotta fully commit.
My dealership gets these as trades pretty regularly, and they just don’t hold up like a family vehicle should. Any of the author suggestions would be a safer bet.
All my bottle cages are attached with zip ties for this exact reason. I love that bike because it is absolutely indestructible, and mine was free.99 from a neighbor back in high school. My new plan is basically what you’ve outlined, brakes that work, and wheels that don’t weight 5 pounds each.
I tore my old Traveler III down to the frame with plans to modernize it as a nice cruiser and every time I start doing any kind of research, my conclusion is to just buy a new frame with standard stem, wheel, and hub sizing already baked in.
Exactly. In a time period where no one is anywhere close to meeting quotas for manufacturer bonuses, you have to make as much as humanly possible on each unit you sell.
It’ll probably look really cool on the eventual Z06 or Grand Sport, but does look a bit try hard on a regular base car.
That’s a factory accessory on Z51s. It still looks terrible.
Unless it’s a P2 platform Volvo, then the front coils are basically disposable.
They used to. The Prius 3 had a package called “Plus Performance” that added forged TRD wheels and uprated suspension and some other bits.
I’ve told this story here before, but I got pulled over as a high schooler, and got out of the ticket because the cop tried to be a hot shit and flip a 180 and ended up in my neighbor’s front yard. Turns out cops are just as dumb as everyone else, but with better job security.
Well I can’t see through the side of it, so it’s in better shape than 90% of the ones I see in Ohio. Probably cheaper, too.
Enough about the Subaru, let’s talk about how cool that house is.
Got a sample sheet of orange vinyl and cut off everythingf that didn't fit inside the faceplate.
I’d also look at the Blaupunkt SQR 46 reissue.
