Maybe im crazy, but I think it looks pretty big. I was hoping for smaller and less overhangs.

That really bums me out.

I remember reading about a guy who built his own device to change the lights. He would do it every day on his way to work. The only problem is that it alerts somebody in a traffic monitoring station or something. They kept noticing the signals where being changed on the same streets at the same time every morning.

One time I was waiting at a red light and a car approaching the light behind me was flashing the highbeams like crazy and then pulled up next to me. I asked the old lady if she was trying to get my attention and she said that flashing the highbeams changes the lights green “thats how fire trucks do it”. We sat there

It looks very nice, but I just cant lust after performance cars with only 2 pedals. Also all that weird junk where the stick shift should be looks weird.

Earth!

I agree a roll bar would fix most my complaints. They are great cars and I have to admit I am tempted to buy one from time to time. I saw a rally Miata getting new tires at the shop the other day. It was an NA with a mild lift, roll bar and light strip on top of the roll bar. I wanted that car. haha

I think if you got the miata with the LSD it was actually more expensive than the twins.

I had that problem at the Subaru dealer and they lost my business, but the Toyota dealer let me take an FRS on 3 test drives before I bought it as I was going back and forth comparing to other cars.

The nissan Z is too heavy and sloppy at the limits of handling. Not nearly as fun to drive hard as the Toyobarus, but more satisfying to drive around town. Very different cars in my opinion.

I dont think 50 torques is that easy to find in a 2 liter. You need forced induction. That cost thousands of dollars, voids your warranty and comes with other issues. I think they could have made a lot of people happy if it came with a 2.5 liter from the factory.

I was the one doing a lot of that bitching and I purchased an FRS in 2013.

Less body flex is the main reason, but also looks, sound, safety and security.

That is a pretty big assumption to make about me. I’m not even a Porsche guy. Although I did drive a used 1st generation Cayman once and have to give credit where it is due. It was amazing even bordering on driving perfection.

If only NA Miata came with a fixed roof I would get one. : (

I think he had his head injury before he hit the plane.

That is a good possibility. I still dont like the engine choice. But if it makes the guy happy good for him.

haha. Its crazy how horsepower is getting out of control. I didnt mean to say the Cayman needed more power, only that if you really wanted more power there would better ways to get it without so many compromises.

I understand that is wheel HP and I still think its a dumb idea. The flat 6 is perfectly balanced and the weight is positioned much lower than the V8. Plus you dont need the plexiglass middle window behind the driver and you can have a trunk. But the main reason is body roll.

All that for 428 hp? Dont they make a supercharger or something that could get the same power without ruining every other aspect of the car?
