Manuals make me happy. What other reason does there need to be. I’ll row my own any day instead of letting a shitty-ass DCT do it for me. Plus you can’t push start an automatic.

Not just that but REPAIRABILITY. DCTs are...scary. If it goes out the car is for all intents and purposes totaled.

because even a fast car is freaking boring with a auto. even flappy paddles. even the ferrari yes even that one.  

Because every single shitty driving habit I have seen is exacerbated by the automatic transmission.

More fun to drive. Allows a greater range of driving techniques. Keeps the driver engaged with the outside and makes texting somewhat more difficult. You can start the car with a dead battery. Reliability. Keeps 80% of thieves away.

It’s more fun? Isn’t that enough for you? It’s not like you’ll ever need to shift gears in less than 100 milliseconds. And the last three gears are pretty useless for normal road going.
