They keep teasing us with that awesome yellow color. It’s not available in America. The available colors in America are all pretty lame. The least ugly color available to us, in my opinion, is white.

A long time ago I worked at a company that made products out of stainless for use in ocean water. I don’t know what grade of stainless or any other details, except that after manufacturing they went through a surface passivation process. I think it involved using acid to remove ferrous material from the surface.
I’m sure there are downsides to it, but you made it sound like any truck with IRS just couldn’t work. I’m still waiting for the owners and reviewers of the Lightning to complain about the suspension being inappropriate for a truck.
The F-150 Lightning has IRS
oops, I couldn’t get the video link to work, so trying to delete the comment.
I’m sick of people saying that the new Integra is just a tarted up Civic. Because, while true, that’s what the Integra has always been. Even the lovingly remembered DC2. Why all the love for older tarted up Civics and all the hate for the new one?
I love that song. I heard it just recently
How is the steering and handling compared to, say, a base model Civic? I think that would be a pretty good benchmark for this car. If it handles more like previous Priuses, I’m not interested.
And yet here you are still reading them
You can techincally add the Chevy Bolt EV and Bolt EUV to that list.
No, my previous cars were old, very used, and decidedly worse. This was my first new car I got when I first started making a decent salary after college. I accepted the faults of my previous cars. Those cars were purchased on a young person’s meager finances. Given all the hype and gushing articles by the major car…
I get that people think this is an unworthy successor to the 3rd generation Integra. But that seems like nostalgia messing with the memory of what those cars were really like. I had one of them (a ‘95 GSR) that I got new. It had serious flaws that sucked most of the fun right out of it, as follows:
I’m 5'11", and at one point when I had my NB Miata, I weighed 300lbs. I’ve lost a lot of weight since. But I was able to fit into it at that size, no problem. I did do a couple of little mods, though. I did a “foamectomy” of the driver’s seat to gain a little more headroom. And I flipped around this one little…
Indeed. I wish you luck getting out of the grays!
I love the way the starters sound on those old Chrysler products.
I really want to know more about what is going on. Specifically, why aren’t they getting out of the boat? That one guy was out and climbed back into it. What the hell were they thinking? Is there maybe some other part of the mechanism that’s moving underwater or something?
I had no idea they have made that many. Based on the fact that I have never seen one on the road, and that my local dealers have $5k markups on them when they have one, which they almost never do, it seems like they’ve made about 10 of these things.
Yeah, that’s a good point. The Bolt and leaf are very reasonably priced and have pretty good range too. I would wait for Chevy to fully fix the battery fire problem on the Bolt, though. My understanding is that they’re still working on it.
I agree. And there are three theoretically available now in the form factor I want, which is a small front wheel drive sedan. There’s the Honda Insight, the Elantra Hybrid, and the Corolla Hybrid. I think I would be happy with any of those. If it wasn’t for supply chain problems I would be getting one of them right…
Thank you Mercedes! Now I can begin making up for years of lost time in the grays
