This is kind of a pointless article. If you're driving a 918, entering a highway, you're likely going to be the only one on the road. I don't care how fast or slow this car is, you're going to absolutely blow the doors off all the Camry, Prius, Civic, and Mercedes on the road. How much faster do you have to go to beat

Meanwhile, over at Jalopnik, the 918 gets highest marks ever…

I don't know, I think the video Petrolicious put together was the clear winner.

I find it amazing that everyone seems to immediately take the callers side, we haven't heard from the Porsche driver. I read this and think the caller is some old codger who puts his nose in everyone's business and drives 20 mph in a 45 zone. So when that "blur" passes him at 45 mph, it's more than doubling the speed

All those happen every day here in Northern California. Just a typical day on the road.

I think that's because Keith Moon actually had talent.

Whoa, wait, hold on just a minute here… Are you seriously telling me that See Spot Run is not about a jailbreak??

You're basking in the glory of an X6 burning. Tell you what, let Jalopnik readers know where your car is parked and maybe one of us will torch for you. Then you can write a glorious post about your car getting torched. This guy is an "asshat" because only BMW drivers park poorly. It's clear you're an asshat blogger,

Yep, I see that now. :)

Oops, you're right! I misread that line. Still, it's absurd that you champion vandalism in commend this guy for his asinine actions.

Some "first-rate public service" would be for you to stop writing. Seriously. I don't know what you're vendetta is against BMW, but it's really childish. I personally am not a fan of the X6 either, but torching someone's car for any reason is not "first-rate public service" it's vandalism, it's illegal. It's careless,

It's really embarrassing what BMW has done to their name.

Yeah, because the 911 isn't a timeless design or anything.

Dude, the driver of the car was an idiot. Not the driver of the train. Why is this hard for people to understand?

I've never understood this "struggle" people have with buying cars. When I was searching for my "fun" car, I knew what I wanted: A convertible with decent power, handling, and a classic feel. I know what cars that I like fit in that category that I could afford at the time, and for me they were: Alfa Romeo Spider

Nice cars… but they would be the first kicked out of my garage to make room for some classic cars.

Seeing the video Jalopnik posted, and the video GeorgyBoy posted, this is a pretty clear case of Provocation. The BMW driver should not have got out of his car and opened the door of the Mini Van, nor should he have floored it and taken off without looking. However, he was provoked into these actions by the asshats

This is why I like classic cars—no BS.

My thoughts exactly, that's the only reason I chose the SM. I think the author's last sentence made the best argument: "If I'm going to by a headache-inducing car, you want to hear people go "Wow" on a regular basis."

The Bitter was a good looking car, for it’s time, and I think it’s still good looking today. I think it failed largely due to the fact it was sold through Buick dealers. People buying Buicks then, and now, don’t want a car that looks like that. They want bulky, bulbous, cavernous crap.
