S2000 broke my back

FSD would have to improve by an order of magnitude to break out of level 2 at this point. It still needs to be closely supervised in any situation other than a limited access highway. It makes too many dumb and dangerous choices to be considered true level 3.

I think it’s perceived crampedness because of the high belt line or the interior size not being huge compared to how big it is on the outside.

*Raises hand. 10-15 min each way, less than 10 miles from home.

Yes! Red C1 (late 50's preferably) with the white insert week always be the signature Vette for me (39yo)

Finally some love for the C1. It's the only gen that is universally attractive. Yeah, the performance is bad, but so was every other car in the 50s.

You could also not buy something that costs $600/month. There’s a middle ground. It also depends if you have $3k laying around. If you have to put it on a credit card, it gets a lot more expensive really quick, assuming you even have the credit limit to pull it off.

My suggestion would be to find a new Kia Soul (lower spec) that’s not marked up to hell (they exist where I am), and finance the extra $5k or so. Anything used for 15k is going to need work these days.

A Subaru for less than 15k is going to have tons of miles on it.

Tom’s answer? You’re absolutely correct.

Loved those! We could definitely use more cheap convertible or targa top cars.

I think the feeling is that it’s more of a notch back then a traditional hatch.

IIRC, it’s only the 2000 model year, and even then it’s manageable on stock wheels. Just don’t put 18s on it and you’ll be fine, lol.

It did. Don’t get me wrong, I loved that car, but a crash in it is why my back is messed up.

He said "not" douchey...

That dark green metallic is epic.

So what amount would you be willing to trade for killing a family member?

Neutral: Mostly the prices. I know that the average new car selling price is mid-40k, but I’m not looking to spend that much on a depreciating asset. I purchased a brand new 2020 Tiguan 4motion for well under $30k in 2020 and a brand new 2021 Soul for $17k in 2021. I just can see spending the price of 2 cars for one

If they had any amount of logic and consistency, there's an obvious target for their anger about attacks on bodily autonomy... But I don't see them making the connection.

That would still be a challenge in this market. They only made so many, something like 5k per year.

I would be surprised if you could find one of those for under $15k with an interior that hasn’t basically disintegrated. The drivetrain is solid, for sure. But that era GM vehicles had interiors that were basically piles of plastic dust 10 years ago.
