Definitely the VW ID.Buzz and Ford Maverick. Those two are at the top of my list for a next vehicle. Efficient and practical seems to be a tough combination to find, so I’m excited for both of these.

If you can find one, a lightly used VW Golf Sportwagen or Alltrack should fit the bill nicely. Good gas mileage, quiet, and comfortable.

Sportwagen is the answer, especially out of the options provided. You'll get 40mpg on the highway if you baby it, and it will absolutely swallow cargo. Definitely make sure it's the model year with the longer warranty, or spring for an extended warranty (a must for used VWs).
