S2000 broke my back
dyaeger867

My back problems sprout from a combination of to stiff rear suspension and too large wheels that resulted in a crash.

Awful when new. Still awful all these years later. A “sporty” car for people who don’t like cars. ND, obv.

This! Where is the IRB process? Where is the insurance policy that covers all of us involuntary research subjects?

For a brief shining moment, I had a glimmer of hope that this would be the day; we would finally get our 100% ND.

At the cost of everyone else’s lives on the highway, who BTW didn’t sign up for your science experiment, I’m willing to take my chances with you potentially being ignored.

Was anyone else expecting a story on how to find and buy slightly used motor oil? DT, you disappointed me, but in a good way.

You’re not wrong, but can you imagine the chaos that would ensue? People generally don’t even know what a yield sign means.

Finally someone on here that knows something about machine learning.

Except that’s not at all how neutral networks function... They literally learn based on example input and output, aka training data, not based on hard and fast rules. So if you trained a neural network to make a fruit salad, it would never think to use a tomato unless your training data included many fruit salads

Username checks out...

Because that would be ridiculous, I imagine.

Can you even get one right now? I’m genuinely interested. There were wait lists before all of this nonsense, and Tesla would seem to be extra sensitive to the chip shortage.

Fun and practical. But how reliable? I love VWs, but I refuse to own one out of warranty.

If they only sold a GTI Sportwagen in the US...

People overlook the 1.8 TSI version. Great little engine with decent mid-range grunt and will get you 40+ mpg if you take it easy on the highway.

Of course this happened in the south. I’m a cis white male, and without fail I get pulled aside for a pat down (more like genital groping) every time I got through security at a southern airport. It never happens on the way out from Philadelphia or Baltimore.

The S2000 was meant to be a limited run. They only ever planned to make 5 thousand or so per year. I don't recall Honda ever having any trouble selling them.

I had a few of these as rentals. 2.4 aside, I thought they were really well appointed for the time and were nice for highway drives.

That’s adorable. I've been to Florida frequently enough to know that it's basically a lawless swamp at this point.

Unfortunately, I can see the poll. 25% of voters think this is a good idea as a purchase decision... I guess people are also ingesting horse dewormer, so...
