Also not a wedge, at all.
Also not a wedge, at all.
Except for the notorious exhaust manifold that could crack and wreak havoc on the rest of the engine.
There really isn’t anything else like it. My favorite 4-cyl for sure, followed by the 2.0 TSI in the GTI, the polar opposite but still great in its own way.
4G63... Only if by best you mean best at emptying your wallet. I know they can be tuned to wild HP numbers, but show me a modded 4G63, and I’ll show you an owner with a big credit card balance and a separate daily driver. Stock they’re nothing special.
Worst I ever agreed to was a 3-year loan at around 13% for a $10k 2000 S2000 with 90k miles back in 2009. I think it worked out to about $325/month. Ended up crashing it after 9 months in an oil slick near a toll plaza. Between the insurance payout and the $4k I got from selling the remains to a body shop, I ended up…
At least he got the warranty and gap... I've known too many people making huge car payments on cars that they can't afford to repair.
But your comment was questioning the amount knowing that a shop performed the work...
I have no experience replacing a starter on your specific vehicle, but based on my completely different experience with another vehicle, I’m going to shame you for not repairing it yourself in a parking lot under a time crunch. I’m also going to assume that you just gave up right away and didn’t try hitting it with a…
What shop is going to sell you a starter for $60? Probably 2-3x markup on the part, 1-1.5 hours of labor at $100/hr, then around $80 for the oil change (gotta be at least 6 quarts). 120 + 150 + 80 = 350.
It’s nuts, but most tire shops don’t want to install any tires not from their inventory. They claim it’s a liability issue, but I suspect it has more to do with $$.
I’ve always had good experiences with Falken, especially their performance oriented tires. Compared to the similarly spec'd Bridgestone, they were half the price and nearly as good.
Extended Bunker to bumper warranty on any car with a loan term longer than the factory warranty. There’s nothing worse than paying for big repairs on top of your car payment for a car that’s potentially underwater. Obviously, shop around for the best deal, but you can often get a pretty good deal at the dealership and…
I’m guessing they're referring to short term disability insurance like Aflac. Covers costs if you can't work due to an accident.
You mean like changing to a steering “yoke” just for funsies?
Sure, if you want to spend 15k on a car with over 150k miles.
You absolutely cannot decide to be depressed, just like you can't just decide to not be depressed. You're proving the point that religion can result in ignorance.
How is that not a violation of the US Constitution?
The suspension that shares oil with the gearbox sounds super simple and not at all overly complicated and unnecessary...
I think Hyundai is doing just fine without you...
Meh. We always complain on here about sellers not fixing things before listing. This car has everything sorted, looks nice, and it’s more rare than your garden variety X5. 15k is a lot of money for an old German SUV that isn't a G-wagen, though. In this crazy market, who knows? I abstain.
