S2000 broke my back

If this had a Toyota badge on it, the results would be reversed. $2500 for a car that runs, drives, and can be registered is automatic NP where I live. The 5-speed is a bonus, and 130HP in a car that weighs slightly more than a ton should be at least a little bit entertaining. This will likely be more reliable than a

I think it actually is a Tiguan underneath. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, Tiguans are packaged quite well (other than the lack of power, which this addresses). Then again, is a tarted up Tiguan really worth $90k?

I thought there drivetrain was from the base level Celica of the same era. 140HP would be way high for a Corrola from the late 90s.

Today’s entry just solidifies my theory that a 100% result in either direction is simply impossible. I can see maybe one or two instances of user error/fat finger. But the fact that 5% of voters thought this was a good deal just goes to show that 5% of readers are just trolls.

I was sure that this was finally it. Finally, we were going to get 100% ND/CP. But no, it’s 2020, and we can’t have nice things.

Well in this case No Dice is the answer. Cool car, but for that price, it needs to be in showroom condition to even be considered. It's not, based on the undercarriage photo alone, so hence it is overpriced.

Fast trucks are dumb. Luxury trucks are dumb. $80k+ trucks are dumb. This is all three, AND it's used. No Dice.

I’m still annoyed at the wasted opportunity for a 100% ND/CP result. This is why we can’t have nice things people!

This was it! This was the one! This was it best hope at a 100% ND/CP vote, and it’s already been ruined.

Nice car, but the seller is dreaming with that price. No dice, indeed.

Because the higher interest rates and/or shorter terms required on a used car purchase often make it easier to get into a new car instead. This can be especially true when you factor in the cost of an extended warranty.

These are not good to drive, especially with this engine/trans. I nearly plowed through an intersection at a red light the first time I drove my best friends coupe (same year and drivetrain) on the way to my wedding due to the manual brakes and the awful gearbox. It was also dangerously show to get moving.

It’s unique, quirky, and sorta cool. But it’s also kind of beaten up, has a lot of mileage, and not really all that great to drive. Gonna have to base my vote solely on price, and it’s about $2k to high IMHO. CP for the Radwood special.

The poll is a little wonky on mobile (Chrome), but it worked.

I wouldn’t pay $5k for any 90's Chrysler product that isn’t a Viper.

I really wanted to go NP on this when I saw the headline and engine/trans combo. But... that interior is just way too rough for this kind of asking. Unfortunate CP.

Don’t try to convince yourself that what your eyes see isn’t reality. This is a $9-10k “investment” before the year is over if you buy it. Don't be like Hoovie. CP

You must be NBA height. I’m 6'2" and fit just fine in my ‘00.

You do not want low profile 18s on a first year S2000. The rear suspension was tuned with the relatively high wall stock tires in mind. With this setup the car will try to kill you with mid-turn snap oversteer. Ask me how I know...

Could this be the day? Could we get a 100% CP?
