Of everything that people suggested, that was the line that rang the truest to me. I heard it in Kramer’s voice and even saw his mannerisms.

It’s peanuts in a time like this, but, damn, I was really wanting to see Spiral. If Spiral comes to VOD like Universal decided with its flicks, I would certainly rent it.

Accurate, but horrifying.

Shit, what am I supposed to do with all of these “Down with Eurasia” signs?

Wiki says her stage name was originally her MSN messenger name, so the origin is there. As far as the “why?” of it goes, I have no clue. Probably just a take on the naming convention youths used to do, a la “XxHamsterWheelxX”

I feel bad commenting on her looks, but the difference is undeniable. She used to look a bit like Amber Heard mixed with Anne Hathaway in that pic with Newsom. Now, she looks like she was pieced together in a factory.

I gotta say, I was hoping for a list of toast based on the originating breads, but that’s mainly because I wanted to a channel in which to shout that sourdough toast is awful.

I’m going Marnie on this one. Peanut butter, Oreo and Strawberry Rhubarb all under one contestant makes it hard for me to consider any others.

S’mores poptarts--you’ve chosen wisely.

Unrelated, really, but I saw Joe vs. the Volcano for the first time recently. I avoided it when it came on peasant-vision during my childhood because it always looked too serious. I would be thrilled with Dragnet or The ‘Burbs any day, but Joe...eh.

Scream 4 was surprisingly solid when I saw it in theaters. I caught a bit of it more recently, and the scenes I caught seemed to hold their strength.

Wait, wait, wait. Let’s talk about this “white stuff.

Right! Roberts is featured front and center in most of the commercials I saw (not as much as Gilpin, but still, she’s there), so I figured she’d last a decent chunk into the flick. And heck, thinking that she was going to live for a while and then seeing her get killed in the first 15 minutes (or whatever) would have

Thank you for writing this. Knives Out is a movie full of flimsy stereotypes—not even actual characters for the most part—and had nothing interesting to say. Frankly, it felt like Rian Johnson was in white savior mode and made this movie to show how woke he is. I have no clue where the heaps of praise it received came

Brockmire, from what I’ve seen (1.5 seasons worth), is a great show. The opening scene of the first episode—hell, the *entire* first episode—had me laughing essentially nonstop. The writing, characters, overall story—everything about the show seems solid.

Now playing

Much like other commenters here, I am not sure why Offerman offering his thoughts on how Swanson would react during this outbreak received so much venom. The author says the question is “banal” and that’s it. Banality typically doesn’t require the warning “keep your mouths shut!”

I am no expert in this matter, but I took five minutes of my life to Google “Did coronavirus really come from bat soup” and discovered that it did not come from bat soup. In fact, the bat soup video Cruz is likely referencing came from 2016 and was filmed on an island not in nor near China.

The article on the removal of coronavirus signs from immigration courts really pisses me off. Per the source article, no *actual* reason is given for their removal in the first place:

Rocky is handsome. However, that picture of Lunchbox in the header image of the article makes a strong argument toward that chonk above all others.

I want Cajun Benoit.
