I look forward to Huyang serving more epic burns about Sabine’s lack of force powers. Just like, every time Ahsoka tries to make Sabine balance rocks while balancing upside, Huyang is just there like, “you know who could do that? Literally every other padawan over the last 500 years. Nerd."
Yeah it appears pretty sturdy, either way it’s still bonkers, it’s one of those things if I didn’t see it I wouldn’t believe it.
And apparently it can resist the pressure from the bow of a boat at full throttle.
It’ll be feet thick. Most of it should support a person walking around on it, but there is likely to be some spots where you could easily fall through/up to your waist, pits, neck...
It would be interesting seeing what it looks like from below and maybe someone walking on it to see how boggy it was. I imagine it’s quite bouncy on the surface and rooty on its underside.
And that’s fine. Retcons to make a better story or adapt to out of control changes happen all the time.
Eh the minute differences didn’t really bug me. It was 95% the same scene shot for shot with a little extra bits to flesh it out. Books, and comics have done this for decades.
Filoni clearly had that plan for Sabine and Ahsoka mapped out based on the Rebels’ finale narration and their looks. I always wondered why she…
I want to know more about the composition of the floating bog. Is it all roots? Can you walk on it without falling through? How deep does it go?
that timelapse looks like something out of SimCity or Civilization. what a trip
nature’s hydroponic garden. that is awesome!
Some archdruid left their bog in a no parking zone again.
Rogue One didn’t have gratuitous amounts of slow motion, washed out colours, and deliberately artificial looking CGI sceneries.
That top image looks like some RTS game.
This is so bizarre I thought it had to be fake at first. Who knew? Floating islands...
Star Wars already is Star Wars mashed together with Seven Samurai. Seven Samurai heavily influenced Lucas ideas of Jedi and their Order.
Oh my God, I am dumber for having read this. If you think the 5 hour version is the ideal, uncompromised version, just release that. You are already at an over four hour runtime.
So Zack Snyder’s brilliant idea this go-round was to mash together Star Wars and Seven Samurai? As if Disney already didn’t do that already with Rogue One?
Garbage PR corpo-speak response to killing off people’s livelihood.
I know it’s a boilerplate response from them, but the “we’ll do more with fewer people, more easily” response isn’t quite a good look.
