Oh man, that high-contrast mode sounds like a godsend. Sometimes I have a lot of trouble tracking what’s going on when the screen gets extra busy, and the resulting headaches can get nasty.

I’ve started judging most character customization options by what they can achieve in Monster Factory, which honestly isn’t a very good measure (but it is a fun one.)

If the head of my workplace sent out a long email about their pet I would find it a little unprofessional in any context. To do so in an email that’s also addressing a political issue is bizarre and really inappropriate, especially if that issue is emotionally charged.

I’d like to add Restaurant to Another World to the list of already great contenders. It’s a lovely mix of light-hearted fantasy and food anime and it always manages to lower my blood pressure.

Could some of this just be the projections failing to account for saturation?

This campaign is the most fun I’ve had since I started the game and played through the Red War campaign. The story is coherent and just full of wonderful detail. The levels are just wonderful; we keep poking around in corners just to see everything. The fights are fun to figure out without being tedious or

This is one of the few games where I didn’t romance anyone. It felt off, like starting a relationship with a time bomb in my head was a lower priority than everything else happening.

Same thing happened to me and my friend; the third member of our fireteam got credit right away, but we only got hte triumph. We had to go back and do it one more time and happily it registered. No problems with the cut scene, so I got to screenshot the hell out of it twice.

I love that even in this article, it’s sparked several debates over which franchise is better. That’s some clever puzzle building, even if some of the clues are a bit of a stretch.

Oh, man. I wish I hadn’t just bought a whole suite of peripherals; these are amazing!

I remember years ago, when dinosaurs ruled the earth, my friend was buying a custom-built computer. They sold him a 4gig hard drive (massive at the time) and I distinctly remember the tech telling him, very seriously: “You will never fill this.”

Hey! There are a few online communities for raids and dungeons; reddit has a couple of LFG subreddits and destinysherpas has escorted teaching runs of just about everything. I don’t do raids, but if you ever want to do a dungeon I can grab a friend and we can run it together. I’m on PST and can do evenings and

Oof. That’s some painful brain drain. Where I work, they fight pretty hard to identify and retain people who have this kind of knowledge, because a million-dollar device isn’t terribly useful if no one can work the damn thing. I guess that’s true in game development as well.

You should still get campers, though they aren’t as common. The amiibo thing is a problem with a solution; the older amiibo cards are pretty easy to come by these days, and the hello kitty cards also include villagers you can invite. I’ve also heard you can make your own amiibo tags, but I haven’t looked into it so I

There are a couple of ways:

That’s what surprised me about the Moomin cafe. The food was actually, legitimately good. I’d go back for it. Very strange.

It doesn’t surprise me that the cafes really relied on tourist trade; my sister and I went in 2018 and it was genuinely the most disappointing meal I had in Japan that visit. I don’t imagine they had a lot of repeat customers. The atmosphere and the appearance of the food were great, but the flavor left a lot to be

In a way, destiny has become my favorite TV show. Every week, I log in Tuesday with my roomates and we run through the story beats. The last few seasons have been great from that perspective; you can get in and out in a couple of hours with a new gun or two, a sense of progression, and some interesting narrative to

I think that’s what they’re looking to resolve in The Final Shape; with the name being such a clear reference to the lore, this has to be the resolution of the looming light/dark conflict (and the finalization of the bet between light and dark.) I’m curious to see where they go from there, but it’ll have to be a new
