I was in real deep in the early aughts Digimon fan community. Brutal stuff, man. I saw the new Tri dub in the theater a few weeks ago, there was a decent crowd. None of them knew a fandom celebrity was in their midst. Ah, old days internet fame. I would never want it back again.

    Not slagging, just mere indifference.

    The A.V. Club

General Specific is still one of my favorite incompetent bad guy characters.

"Sweetie, Isn't that the guy from Depeche Mode?"

DV's thoughts on various KaBlam segments:

Don't forget the Hulk! Of all those, the Hulk and Iron Man series were probably the ones with the most closely linked continuities.

Plus, Intergang always opens doors to bigger thingsā€¦ literally and metaphorically.

Good to see these reviews back, the show is off to a decent start for S3.

It took almost two years to finally make this joke, I admire your restraint.

She's voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, better known as Motoko Kusanagi. Pryce definitely has that ruthless efficiency down, even though she can't throw a punch as good as the Major.

They absolutely knocked it out of the park with the addition of Superman. The dynamic is perfect and it's such a good take on both sides of his personality. Welcome back, show.

If it gets us more batshit crazy Colonel Corps issues they can keep doing it as long as they want to.

Insert GIF of Pete and Lane challenging each other to fisticuffs.

Us Mass locals got a very poorly animated Simpsons-themed Jordan's commercial in the commercial break after this. It was, uh, bizarre. My coworker and I were trying to figure out if we had ever seen it before, because it was in 4:3 and it was just so bad. It had to be old, but I don't remember ever seeing it before.

The closest we got was Friendly's and the Dunkin Donuts guy (who lived in Lenox).

There's still some time. People were asking the same questions when Gowdy and Martin stepped back, and guys like Michaels filled their shoes. It's hard to believe that Al Michaels was only 36 when he made the call for the Miracle on Ice.

It's beautiful. Michaels has carte blanche to do what he wants and he knows how to be subtle and funny about it. With Scully's retirement he is currently the greatest active sportscaster. Who's gonna stop him?

The Patakis would still be relevant and interesting if they ever manage to produce it.

Even Andy Daly needs to eat.
