"This game is so over-the-top that its leading man, played by Kiefer Sutherland, comes off as terribly miscast. It’s not that his performance is bad (it isn’t) or understated (it’s Kiefer). It’s that his co-stars are, in classic Metal Gear Solid style, chewing the scenery so single-mindedly that it’s hard to even hear

Does that make Sadie Wingus then?

Radical. It seems like the kind of thing that would have a lot of crossover with AV Club readers.

Do you read Uni Watch? Cause that sounds like the blog for you.

    Someone to care for,
    Do or dare for,
    She has James Woods!

You call these mixed nuts? I see two almonds touching!

"Yeah. I mean. I guess that’s good? But hot dogs are popular, too."

    In Beach City, oh ooooh

That's a good quote. The show is probably pushing some commentary on Dr. Maheshwaran's general short-sightedness when it comes both to parenting and profession.

    Freaka-me!
    Freaka-you!

And Rob nailed it on the first recording take, too.

Indeed. The Brain, in Maurice's own words, is like a mixture of Orson Welles and Vincent Price. It's not an exact imitation.

    They hated that too.

    Wait, that's terrible. I quit!

You know, I've always pondered (heh) that the Brain's inability to take over the world (writers notwithstanding) is a mental thing. In the intro, he always says "The same thing we do every night, Pinky—try to take over the world!" Why not "we WILL take over the world"? The old no try, do or do not comes to mind.

Oh, there's a French Fry stuck in my beard!

That got a good laugh from me. I'm honestly not sure I could write anything that would rise above mediocrity. Most HateSongs tend to be incoherent rambling, and I'm sure mine would rank amongst them.

If I could write a HateSong, it would be on how The Goo Goo Dolls ruined Supertramp's Give A Little Bit. Talk about draining out all of what made a song interesting and replacing it with a characterless husk.

The Mazda RX-7. Rotaries! Triangles triangles triangles.
