Even just on a TV, there was a lot pacing around and drinking beer before I could play it.

/comfort. I feel your pain. I definitely wouldn’t recommend FFRK primarily for its new story content. Not yet.
The hype/speculation cycles before Smash Bros. releases really are something special. I tend to try and shake off nostalgia when it comes to individual works (and yes, I’m aware of how huge of a pretentious ass that makes me sound), but I have really fond memories for this sort of thing, these frenzied collective…
I’ve been playing Yoku’s Island Express, and man, this game is charming as heck. I didn’t think stapling pinball onto a Metroidvania could work, but man, it works beautifully.
I’ve finished Resident Evil 0 HD and Resident Evil HD this past week, so now it’s time to zoom to the next wave of survival horror video game evolution with Resident Evil 4. Really looking forward to it! /cheer
With things being a little calmer for me for a while, I’m committed to playing more. And while I do want to play more games with which I’m less familiar or which I’ve not played, I just have a desire to play something I know. So I’m easing myself in with Paper Mario, one of the most important games in my gaming…
I always thought of Harmon as Mr. Poopybutthole more than anything, not that he is a beloved long time family friend, I just don’t think he wipes very well.
I finished Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance this week, which was a blast, and towards the end I felt as if I was even sort of getting good at playing it. Mastery of the combat is definitely it’s own reward, but the ludicrous plot is definitely welcome. If you want a game that is as comfortable discussing global…
Salutations~!
Jesus, the Lordvessel in ten hours. I love seeing speedruns of these games, so I know it’s totally doable, but it felt like I took over ten of those just for Ornstein and Smough.
Jesse Plemons was in Thor: Ragnarok?
Can this guy take over the Roseanne coverage next season? I want to see reviews of the show, not of Roseanne Barr’s Twitter account.
All in the Family was also about how the left and right are bigots. Archie was played by liberal Carroll O’Conner, but he was based on Lear’s own father, who he adored. Back then, liberals railed against the show because they said it was trying to ‘normalize’ bigotry by showing the main character to be human.
Bully for you — now everyone will now just how moral a person your are! I mean, forget about the fact that you’ve probably just reinforced any negative stereotype your family members had about those on the left being thin-skinned and self-righteous. And that being a positive role-model for the things you believe in is…
Ah, give it a whirl. I’m finding these reviews very whiny, and not my experience with the show. I’m laughing out loud - literally - at every episode. They only mention Trump in the premiere and it’s hardly a soapbox for Barr’s off-screen views.
It is overstuffed with characters for a 21-minute-per-week show, but that…
Alex just said a lot things I’ve been saying ever since Danette started reviewing this show with an open mind, which is laughable. Her expectations that a 22 minute sitcom should somehow be able to feature the large cast evenly over 10 episodes is crazy. With just 10, they had to hone in on 10 stories they could tell…
Alex McLevy for the win!!! I’m so very pleased that he addressed the same issues with Dannette’t reviews and opinions that I have been commenting on the last 9 weeks.
“The conclusion the show drew through its dialogue and actions is that Jackie should have voted for Trump.”
It’s not broken.
Anyone who doesn’t think Roseanne Connor could/would be convinced to vote Trump is completely blind about the character and the show.
Fix the show? Is it that bad? It is not the ground breaking entertainment you may have hoped for, but it is far from broken. Just because a character on the show supports Trump and is not a white supremacist, or a ridiculous business tycoon you freak out. The show is hit or miss, but it does have some genuine laughs.…
