Please don't be good. I have so many games to play. And I really thought Dishonored 2 was fantastic and too-quickly forgotten, and I loved System Shock.

Nice, this one's on my 'short' list. Hadn't heard anything about it until release, but it sounds super up my alley.

Persona 5: Since I'm playing along with a friend, progress has been slow. We just returned from our second castle trip and the Chariot link just formed, and things have yet to open up. But it's still the Persona I love so far, with even more style.

That's pretty important. I have Hulu on like 5 devices.. none of which are those things.

Speaking as someone who platinummed Bayonetta 1 & 2, Super Meat Boy, and Dark Souls.. those last few Mario 3D bonus levels were HARD.

Well, at least what it loses in plot in gains in pure bat-shit insanity. Merging two people into an androgynous person who can now fly through space into the sun to punch God in the face is… well, you just wanna see where it goes, plot or no :)

I was gonna comment on that, but, well, you know..

Depends on the game. The devs have to implement the better version. I got one to enhance PSVR, where it really shines.. but was pleasantly surprised to find that the next few games I'd planned on playing (Last Guardian, Dishonored 2, Uncharted 4, Last of Us, Hitman) were already in 4K! And having played Dishonored

Not just the heavy hitters.. whoever is needed most that turn. If some heavy Def guys step in, double the magic. If we need a tank to hold a choke point, double the healing. If green is most effective, double green. Hell, sometimes I just take a guy out and then back the character out of the retaliation zone.

How bout that DDS2 ending, huh?

Oh, I almost forgot Statik Institute of Retention! This charming puzzler on PSVR has really intrigued me. Gameplay-wise, it's pretty standard 'room escape' type puzzles, but as typical with VR, it's the immersion that really shines. The puzzles come in the form of a machine that your hands are locked into, where

Finally 'completionist completed' Dishonored 2. Thoughts:
Pros: The gameplay is as fun as ever, and new skills like Domino and Rune Crafting are great additions. Level design is solid, with two of the levels likely in the discussion every time a new '20 Greatest Examples of Level Design' articles pop up on the

I liked it! I usually spend the first 20% or so of a JRPG learning the ins-and-outs of its combat system, and then the other 80% basically running the optimized route I learned. With VS, I was able to pick about at new ideas in combat throughout basically the entire game, and then it was over. Its short but dense,

I'll quote from the article here, and just say "S-Town really comes into its own at the end of Chapter II".

And if it involves sucking scores for quarters, it's your mo…

One is an adverb that sounds like 'last', and the other is a verb that sounds like 'last'! Totally different words!

I was just thinking wistfully back on Sam & Max and Tales of Monkey Island last night…

Dancers are amazing in Heroes! I've had an Olivia on-staff since Day 1. I really dig the flexibility there.. if you have to take out two mages, activate the mage-killer twice. Or two greens, activate lance-a-lot twice. Or have a ranged unit nuke someone then back out of danger. It's like having a fourth character

It's my first one, so I don't have much insight.. but I picked Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright. It's the latest one (of three), as far as I know. I like it!

Hmm, it does seem like 2 hours is too short (although most major movies are like 2.5 at least nowadays, it's kinda ridiculous). At the same time, a TV show would be too long.. it's about these two characters and their arc, not the larger world. Hell, I'm a little conflicted about TLoU 2 being announced, as it seems
