The legendary ships were awesome. Each one makes you think, and execute well. By far my favorite part of AC4.

Yeah, SA is the only N64 Rare game I never finished, and I even enjoyed DK64 and Jet Force Gemini and Blast Corps. Definitely felt like something yanked out of the experimental lab too early, painted up a little, and tossed in the hopes a big name tie-in would drum up cash anyway.
Sure, but did you play any games?
Dang, WAYPTW is getting front-page shafted this morn!
I can see how it's divisive.. you had to have a lot of patience for tweaking, especially for race vehicles. It's not nearly as accessible as its predecessors, and even releasing it under that brand is probably going to cause incorrect expectations in people. And yeah, you could cheese a lot of repetitive early tasks…
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts was the best Banjo Kazooie game and, IMO, Rare's last solid game post-MS-acquisition.
You make a strong argument, sir!
I always considered the main theme of Persona 3 to be "death". Perseverance is the natural reaction to death in a story that's got a positive outlook, so it's definitely in abundance, but JRPG's aren't short on talking about friendships and perseverance in general. The focus on death is what set the stories apart…
Oops, yeah, it wasn't on PS4 and it didn't work right on 360. And frankly, it only kinda worked on the Fire Stick. I think it's just kinda a garbage app.
I spread my various apps across devices, so I can't remember what's wrong with the FX app on PS4, but I do recall not being able to use it. I haven't had any issues with any other apps, though, and the PS4 Pro is one of the few streaming devices able to stream 4K video, so I find myself using it as the core living…
No.. god no. I picked Hinoka, and she lost by a factor of 10. I'm assuming cleavage carries massive power in this battle..
Dishonored 2: Alright, I concede that it was my trophy hunting that made this game a slog, and now that it's out of the way I enjoy it as much if not more than the first one. I beat the first go-round in High Chaos with Emily in No Powers Mode. No Powers Mode is a nice side option, but it sucks a TON of the fun…
How many jobs does this guy have?
It was a minor gameplay change that turned me off Bloodborne.. the idea that health flask inventory persisted between attempts. I like playing solo, which means mucho dying at bosses (especially if for some reason I've gone out of proper order, which happened when I stopped at Vicar Amelia instead of going past her…
Not in Bedroom. Pissing off Marguerite is noooooot good for your mental health. Or your regular health, as it pertains to being alive.
Incredible write up. It makes Superman 64 sound like One Punch Man.
Welp I'm at home today thanks to our interstate collapsing, so I have plenty of time for discussion!
The constant passage of time definitely makes it seem like you can dead-end, but unless you go out of your way to not do Social Links (in which case, why are you playing??) you'll be fine. You just have to level up a little extra each dungeon.
Haven't started BotW or NieR yet. P4 took me probably 5 months to beat.
I'm not sure whether to be super jazzed by the cartoon or sad by the reminder it was never finished and there is still a cartoon-sized hole in my heart!
