Not true on the Mexican Taxi. That was the Tsuru, based on the early 90s Sentra, virtually unchanged until it was discontinued there in 2017. The Tiida is the Mexican Versa.

If I was to run this in a business, I would want this to have a more modern drivetrain - at least convert it to EFI. Too much chance of vapor lock or some other classic car malady to ruin a booking and get you flamed on Facebook

haha yup - DOG CAR!!!!

Matters to no one, but my 6th grade teacher - Mr. Martin had a brown ‘67 Stout. Always wanted one. That truck at Goodwood though - it’s the equivalent of Caddy Day at Bushwood...

Still ND, but come on - why wouldnt you spend what little it would take to deal with that headliner? Even removing it entirely would be more of an actual NASCAR vibe than that crap.

Came here to post this, not even mad I got beat to it.

nice

Latvian Timber is my new band name - thanks.

24 Hours of Lemons. Stupid fun. Got involved in the early days before Altamont closed. People’s Curse, where one team was voted the scourge of the race field and had their car summarily destroyed - I remember this one well, the team somehow got this thing back through tech inspection with no doors, a visible downward

For 5 dollars.

From what I could quickly gather they switched to all CVTs in the Altima in 2007.  370K 2007-2009s out there.  It does not break it down by trans type.

The tackle box for bolts is brilliant. I cant force myself to bag fasteners reliably even though its cost me more than once (especially when the 30 minute job escalates into a 3 hour one) but I could do this.

“dinner’s cold, i’m leaving it out, eat it if you want to, i’m going to bed, you’re an asshole.”

Yeah, the oldest ones are definitely...old. I didnt look at it on a by year basis. We use Polk here at work and its interesting drilling down rabbit holes. Looking at 2008-2021 Charger numbers over the last year (not including the 2022-2023s as some of those could possibly be new sales and skew the attrition numbers).

Polk registration as of this April:

Yep - looking at one of these for my daughter in law who has a 5 mile commute and isnt a particularly great driver. I’m seeing ~50 mile range Leafs around here for sub $3K.
