I bet the theft epidemic and that not only is Kia expecting customers to foot the bill for the antitheft device install that didnt come from the factory - many dealers are seeing it as a profit opportunity might have something to do with this.

Ran when parked.
Hold my Tide Pod.
Yeah, for this money it would have to have a better (or at least more interesting) powerplant. Hell, even a NA 2.3 Ford would be an improvement.
A *relatively* small annoyance that I couldnt get past on these cars is the unnatural position of the steering column (and therefore the steering wheel), angled towards the center. By far one of the lesser flaws on these, but still - I couldnt.
Toyota relied heavily on the converter to help reduce emissions and it has a lot more precious metal in it than compared to many others (Ford V10s and Honda Elements are also targeted for similar reasons).
I’M NOT TRYING TO KILL MYSELF - I’M JUST FREAKING OUT!!!
My thinking was that to isolate the positive and negative to prevent the possibility of shorting out with other batteries in the bag/container.
My city collects batteries separately but recently sent out a message admonishing us to NOT put tape on batteries (I have been doing this with button cell lithiums). I am surprised we havent had any fires yet.

There was a time period in my life where I was sourcing my (new) tire purchases almost exclusively from the local Pick and Pull for 2 reasons:
Dumb name both with brand name and the actual name of the vehicle.
Found my new craft fair festival band name - thanks!
We deal with English service manuals for Korean equipment here at work and have had decent luck taking the stuff we can’t figure out and using Google to translate it back into Korean and then right back into English again.
My dad had a ‘69 Chevelle SS396 when the gas crunch hit. He traded it in on one of these. I remember him keeping a case of oil in the back and him routinely topping it off during fuel stops. It practically was a 2 stroke. I love the guy, but still am bitter about him not keeping the Chevelle for his only son.
Dammit - I was all excited when I read the headline and realized they were talking Garage 56 and not Garage 54. Garage 54 being involved in NASCAR would actually make me want to watch it.
