I say, make whatever bread, and however much of it, you want! Life’s too short. If people think you’re extra for having fun making all the things, that’s a them problem, not a you problem. :)

Honestly surprised we made it to this one.

My heart isn’t ready to go on.

When I was a wee Dun, my first post-college job involved working in a large room with one shared radio. Inevitably, there were polite and sometimes not so polite negotiations over who got to listen to what radio channel on what day, since it meant subjecting everyone in the room to that station.

YES. THANK YOU. I knew I was confusing my Evil Old White Men.

I know Houston is one of the blue dots in the relative sea of Texas red, but this is beautiful. It’s important to see examples of people not sticking to the established narrative, especially so when the expectation is exactly and only the established narrative.

My eyes are burning from the lack of quality of that photoshop.

Thanks, done. Despite Persnickety’s issues, I didn’t have any problem at all with the avatar change.

Needs more Lying Cat.

I was highly amused yesterday to see that not only were there a lack of sports articles on Deadspin, The Root had an article up about players in the NCAA getting to profit off their own likenesses, Kotaku had an article up about an NBA game being cancelled, and Gizmodo had one that was titled “Terrorists Win”.

Thank you, as always, and I’m glad the kitties are helping you right back. Hope everything starts getting better for you soon.

It’s particularly galling to remember that in his “I’m so innocent” letter Matt makes a point of castigating his victims for “abandoning shared responsibility while knowing full well that there were non disclosure agreements involved.

I’m not sure why this would be a surprise to anyone, especially given Adventure Sync, which incentivizes allowing the game to track you when the app is closed. The entire point is incentivizing you to let them track you more.

*researches “why government spending is called pork”*

You know those common phrases that become part of every day language to reference a certain concept or situation, and by the time a few generations have gone by, a lot of people don’t know or don’t remember the origin of the phrase? Yeaaah.

I’m thinking not that bright.

Something the Root does really well that Jez would be smart to emulate (more) is how well the commentariat self-polices their greys. I wouldn’t be sad at all to see that habit employed over here more often.

I mean, this is the entire point of college - being exposed to different viewpoints, opinions, and developing the ability to critically think about the information presented.
