Much like ysubassoon, changing the environment helps me immensely. If diving into a good book or movie/TV show doesn’t seem to help, I get out of the house and go find some nature. There are a couple of places within a short distance of me where I can get a nature “fix”, which really helps me reset my emotional state.…

Ha! Solidarity! Yeah, we’ll get it, I think the toughest part for me is that the settings and such are located in places that are quite counterintuitive (to me). Still, I’m so glad I did it. I would also recommend it, even if it takes a bit of time to acclimate.

I myself am super suspicious of any and all period tracking apps, mostly because like many women, my cycles aren’t all that regular (and I really dislike sharing very personal medical information with third party companies, especially in the case of children).

Because I am an Old and it takes me a while to come around to newfangled technology.

So, it’s a really surreal week for this, but National Novel Writing Month started this Friday. Is any other Jez taking this plunge besides me, this year?
