This isn’t exactly how I imagined our self-engineered destruction would look.

My neighbors had some uncomplimentary things to say about the rain but I’m too busy enjoying being able to breathe and these really nice sunny (but not too hot) afternoons! I accidentally walked out without a jacket this morning and got misted on, but I’m not even mad.
I feel like this movie would have been better with a plot twist and a colon in the title to take it more horror than rom com.
Woo, congrats! I hope it rocks as much as any job can!
Melancholy?
I wonder if they’re going to sit on it for a while and then release it tentatively to see how well the market accepts it. If that happens, I hope it does about as well as Spacey’s Millionare Boys Club and makes the equivalent of $126 its opening weekend.
“To capture for the first time what the stakes really were” of space travel?
I wondered if the author might be similarly guessing, because I was so sure he couldn’t possibly be the one on the left.
That’s what looks off to me in the picture, I couldn’t put my finger on it. It’s just sort of hovering near his mouth.
Maybe it’s the light artifacts in the pic, but the guy on the left looked blond to me, and the scruff does wonders for his face.
If you can’t put forth any substantive issues or arguments because your platform is ethically and morally bereft, then I guess you rely on smear attempts like this.
For those in the greys “just asking” for lists of “what equates acceptable actions for redemption” and “what he did just wasn’t that bad” and implying that a single apology means it’s perfectly okay for men to decide that everything’s hunky dory and just fine after only a few months and can just pick up their old…
Maybe because it’s so blatantly transparent these days?
Hey, Pence.
Aw, Lindsay. That’s so sad.
Nah, I was getting hyperbolic about it. Although counterpoint, he did pose the (most likely rhetorical) “Who likes to read” question, which...uh....at the very least, displays a somewhat interesting conclusion about how he views people, since there are many people who do like to read. Especially since he continues to…
I honestly didn’t find that to be the strangest part, as my love lies pretty completely with the books and I find the movies just okay. They’re fine. But I’ve seen them once and that’s all I feel I need; I’m similarly somewhat lukewarm about the play and don’t feel the need to go out of my way to see it.
Flat out sexist, racist or predatory behavior seem to be written off fairly frequently as “you just can’t take a joke. It’s just a comedy routine/just an act. Stop being so sensitive about it.”
Yes, he is, which I thought was kind of obvious given the slew of other articles talking about it and that every image of him has her in it as well.
My first thought was, “who?” My second thought was, “Oh...right. Okay, so what is he doing that makes his personal relationship to Harry Potter article-worthy?”
