This one sticks out because I EXPECTED it to be awful. Last year my brother and I flew into see our family in TN and landed in Nashville. As its cheaper to fly to Nashville- as in a LOT cheaper- we decided to rent a car to get us the rest of the way. I always rent the crappiest cheapest cars because I don’t care.

So

Well surely they’ll pass that savings on to the consumer!

Uhhh, what? This (if well executed) is one of the best moves VW has made in years. Scouts are cool, off road things are hot right now, trucks are hot right now, EV’s are hot right now... what am I missing?

Chrysler Aspen Hybrid should be the answer for everyone — I believe fewer than 100 were made. It was Chrysler’s first ever production hybrid, but it (and the Durango hybrid platform mate) were only in production for 2 months before the plant was shut down as part of the financial crisis in 2009.

Three words:

This guy here - the VW California Camper Van. Basically, it’s just a new version of the Eurovan, which they did sell in North America. Putting aside the absurdity of not selling a vehicle in the jurisdiction it’s named after (despite having sold a similar van - but named after Europe there two decades earlier) - it’s

I’ve owned a 2006 Prius for fifteen years now and have put new shocks and a brake tune into it. Maybe $1500 total. Thing runs like a microwave. Push the button, beep beep.

Yeah, it’s been I think 40 years since I got that F.

Not an Austin

Assume you’re going to be buying this vehicle only, or almost only, to use it to plow. Let’s say — like me — that you’ve got a mile or two of dirt road between where you’re staying in winter and the nearest pavement, and you somehow need to get the snow off of that.

The FWD “sporty” coupe w/manual transmission, especially what was on offer in the 90's. Not every teenager can (or should) have access to a beast like a Mustang or Porsche. Sometimes the best a 16 year old can do is to walk the walk, even if the car is all show and no go. Sure, there is a small smattering of

Unsafe? Lt. Frank Cannon drove Lincolns like this, and possibly had his own 1-2 second delay, but managed to evade bad guys for five seasons!

“It was the one-oared man!”

Nothing screams “lock up your children” like a late-80's, early-90's windowless, rusted out, powder blue van. My stepdad owned one of these (a Ford Econoline) when I was a teenager and I would use it to transport my zero-radius mower to jobs. The perfect juxtaposition of the Chester’s van stereotype and the

I got several in mind but The Car is the one that really freak me out. But I see, someone else already posted this. So I’ll go with Christine.

My ‘73 Volvo 1800ES. Bought it 20 years ago for too much money, fixed a bunch of mechanical problems, and it was my daily driver on and off for a long time. It’s waiting on some much-needed attention now, but man, does it get looks.

My Datsun 240Z. The image is not of my car, but my car was exactly the same: colour, wheels, and even the bumper rider!

‘69 Charger guy some how trying to shoehorn a ‘69 Charger into the conversation. Color me surprised.

Great for bringing home baby bumblebees.

The GX depreciates more than the 4Runner and starts just under $60k, so a used one would be a good option.
