Honestly this is extremely tempting as a commuter car. Extremely tempting.

My perception is there’s a shift happening - oddballs are getting more valuable. The price of a restored Mustang (for example) isn’t exactly dropping (or even staying steady) but it’s not growing the way oddballs are growing - especially if that oddball is in as good of condition as this is.

$19K is couch-cushion money for a usable classic car today.

“...these cars have a very narrow audience.”

This is not the greatest badge engineering in the world, no

I haven’t read the comments yet, but no doubt a bunch of camper guys saying you can buy other camper things that do more better for less. But as a non-camper guy I think this camper is pretty cool, and the interior is pretty nice. Can’t be slower than an air cooled VW bus, and people pay big bucks for them. Nice Price.

The ‘70s were a weird time and cocaine is a hell of a drug, but Don Knotts endorsing a pick-up truck is just plain bizarre.

It first started with my brother who brought me to my first GP (Canada - 1968), then I got my first idol (Jim Clark), following by building model cars (LeMans and F1), buying Road & Track and Hot Rod magazines, and finally with my pocket money I bought my first Scalextric track (that became a monster track - 4-track

Beauty is simplicity. For that reason, the Porsche 911 has the best headlights. Except for the “fried egg” years, the headlight design has kept the same, clean formula for 5 decades: 2 round lights directly in front of the fenders. That’s it.

They just look so happy

When my father-in-law wanted a new car (living in OKCity), he asks the family from some financial help to get a new car and he wanted Continemtal Mark III, he was 80 (his professional profile would be similar to Madmen, the show). He was the guy who loved Alfas, he had 2 of them, and a Volvo, and etc. The family got

I’ll beat a dead horse and suggest the Volvo P1800. A lot could be said about its styling which still feels fresh, its clean lines and etc, but for me, I just think it’s neat :)

Every time I see a classic Mini I am ear to ear with smiles. The proportions. The cheery round headlights. I don’t think a car needs to be a supercar with long clear headlight lenses to be the best looking.

I definitely understand that Nissan has not put many design resources into anything recently, but are these really *that* much worse than an Audi, Acura, or Volvo of the same price?

I hate it with my entire heart and my entire soul. I’ve dedicated a small portion of myself strictly to hating it. “Oh you should be more positive it’s just a truck lol I tow my boat with one it’s actually really good” I do not care. It’s disgusting. It’s an amalgamation of every single evil thing that humans have

They’re trying to elicit participation from enthusiasts. Would it be better if they picked their top 10, published it, and then let us have at it?

To me the big thing is excessive speed/intentional sliding on public roads that endanger people.

That’s a good one. I thought my Nav on my current car was a great feature, until I used it and realized it was:

Low miles, more than reasonable condition. The 4-cylinder is a bummer, but at least it’s 4WD. Essentially zero options means few things to break. Two-door gives it just a bit of extra panache, and this was one of the last classically styled Jeeps before Wranglers appeared absolutely everywhere and the rest of the
