Getting roasted by Kristen is evidence of a life well-lived.

Can’t say it’s the BEST casting, but it’s one of my favorites. Hardcastle and McCormick’s Cody Coyote

A nice leather wrap for that old sticky plastic steering wheel

James Bond/AMC Hornet.

How long have you been waiting for this moment?

Paul Simon made his pilgrimage to Graceland, but it was too far out of my way.  But there’s this...

I had an old KHS singlespeed with a rigid fork and a rubber-eyeball-seatstay rear suspension.  T’was indeed pointless, but a wonderful novelty.

I almost (but not quite) miss being able to lock up the brakes.  The sound of squealing tires is FAR more effective than a horn if you’re stuck behind a jackass

I always called Toyota’s C-HR “chair”

The best mods I ever did were to my 1990 Econoline camper van.  I leather-wrapped the steering wheel so I didn’t have to touch the sticky 30 yr old plastic, and I replaced the tape deck with a new one that had an aux port.

Yeah, I sat in one and from the driver’s seat forward I was thinking “yeah, ok”. Then I looked at the back seat legroom for my growing pre-teen and thought “uh...let’s look closer at the GTI”

Though not a dickhead by most accounts, I actively shopped these because I find them absolutely beautiful...and even now, decades later, they still grab my attention when I see one. That said, you’re 99% correct.

When I was in my early ‘20's my parents asked if I wanted to drive down to the Ozarks from Kansas City for some reason or other. I said ‘yes’, thinking one last road trip with the parents for old-time’s sake...memories, you know? Instead it was one last time crammed in the back seat listening to them bicker for hours a

Colorado is packed with different designs, and this one is by far my favorite.  And cheapest.

Saw the QOTD, googled this very image, saw you beat me to it.

I test drove one of these in my teen years. Aside from the radio placement I also remember the gear lever was obstructed by the drivers seat when shifting into second. And then during the test drive the engine started smoking and died, yet it was still tempting such was its charm.  I loved these little cars, and if I

I’ve seen a lot of people slow way down before attempting to drive up that steep, icy hill.

I missed the initial Q of the QOTD segment, but even though it’s too late this is my all time favorite:

I let this QOTD come and go, and later in the day remembered about the Toyota bZ4X. Isn’t the world difficult enough, Toyota?

Certainly no tragedy was involved, but one year I decided to ride my bike to my parents’ house for TG. I lived in Kansas City, they were maybe a 15 mile ride east. No issues with the ride there or with dinner, but a storm rolled in...one of those inch-per-hour- storms that appear suddenly and keep dumping. So there I
