Northern CA is definitely where it’s at. I recommend Sonoma County, Healdsburg has some great little restaurants, and Humboldt County, Ferndale is especially sweet. If you make it down to Monterey County, Big Sur is pretty amazing too—definitely the best county to live in overall. Very glad to live here.

Yeah it’s all relative, how shitty can it be to live in a coastal city in the west. Fun fact, if you ever come here, to Seaside CA, be prepared wth turtle necks and sweatshirts, you’ll thank me later. Definitely not the sunny part of CA (been in the 70’s this week hottest it’s been, or will be, all summer).
