Despite being a childless bearded manly man... I cried a bunch when I saw this (few months ago). Of course I made the mistake of watching it at work so I had to hide the fact I was crying but his story really hits you hard no matter your position in life.

I have to agree. I was a huge proponent of FF but it just kept getting worse while chrome got better. Not to mention Chrome has a unique and OpenSource alternative Chromium if you feel the need to stay away from the "Corporate" version...

Also for me the dev tools on Chrome are far superior + lets face it webkit is

Speaking about "voices unheard" yours is probably the one people should listen to. I think people hear autistic and immediately imagine the most severe case they have ever seen on TV. Which I am sorry pales in comparison to I dunno.... death.

Hmm. Interesting... Did not know this!

Buick? Obvious solution... drop Buick and consolidate into Cadillac any successful models. Then focus all 'Luxury' sales into Cadillac. I am absolutely not a GM fan but I think they have been doing a great job with Caddy and would be wise to learn from what Ford has done. (Which is consolidate models but increase

Though, both of those companies have an obvious impact on GM's bottomline... Ford is actually outpacing Toyota in US sales. My assumption is it's a combination of what you suggested as well as Ford's most recent success.

True. However, I recommended BlueJ because it actually makes things very easy. It allows you to visualize classes in a very intuitive way. Most of the time IDEs distract new programmers from the concepts...this is true... but I think this is one of the few cases where it actually enhances the learning experience.

Agreed. The concepts you take away are super important. Often times the tools being used make things to difficult for beginners. For a newb to jump in with eclipse and/or netbeans would just distract them from learning these core concepts.

When I was learning to program I started off with Java and used a IDE (I

Haha. Great way to end a Ford vs GM debate. I think we are done here!

Except... Private loans are done ALL them time. My boss took a loan to buy a company... so that is wrong? Pretty sure private loans are how things are supposed to work. The difference is that Ford has to pay those back... (or file bankruptcy) The companies that own the private bailouts / loans will make money assuming

Agreed. Just seems silly when you could just have a high end Chevy option. Though maybe Its like how I love dodge but would never own a Chrysler EVER. Though they don't really share any models...?

Well my argument toward private loans vs tax subsidized loans is that the former is how it is supposed to be done (happens all the time). I took out a student loan. I now have a job (I am profitable in a sense) and I make payments toward the principal + interest every month Win for me and win for the company who owns

I negated Chrysler... because for me their only redeeming quality is Dodge. To be specific I loved my old dodge 1500 3/4 cummins diesel and I find the Viper to be damn sexy.

Also I think They have done a pretty good job with the whole SRT lineup.

Which reminds me... One positive thing about GM. Duramax + Allison

Profitable? Who is the only American car company NOT to take government bailout money? Ford.

Better-Selling? Toyota is the number one selling brand in America and As of this year Ford is out pacing them. So guess again.

Not to mention GMC is just Chevy re-branded + $2,000... or depending on how you look at it the other

Except for those people, like myself, who are allergic to red wine. In which case I would recommend Whiskey!

Trust me not by choice ;)

As a recently graduated College student this is what I think about when I hear BlackBoard

That's a good point! I have the 4.0 L V6 in my Ranger and its pretty solid but even if I supercharged it these modern ecoboost motors put it to shame :(
