I think the Citizen’s United argument is very telling. If no one governs any more because basically they are always running for office, then you’re right, experience has no value.

So, as long as we agree with their opinions, it’s ok to have people with little to no experience running states that are larger than some countries?

I agree with you about getting a real progressive in office—I just want one who has held some elected office before becoming governor of the 4th largest state in the country.

Can someone explain to me why Nixon is more qualified than Trump, other than that we agree with her opinions? This is no different than Oprah running for President, except she had the good sense to say she is not.
