Agreed. There’s Douthat at the NYT—and Brooks, although he is basically a cipher these days—not to mention the conservative columnists at the Washington Post. At the New York Post? Never happen.

However, just as with ideology, consuming mainstream media is a choice. There are certainly more than enough channels where they could get only media that reflected their viewpoint. They are pissed that any others exist and they feel oppressed by that.

So, conservatives control 1.) the House, 2.) the Senate, 3.) the Presidency, 4.) pretty much the Supreme Court, 5.) their own TV and media networks. But they are STILL being ‘discriminated’ against because the gen pop is ‘consuming cultural products made by liberals.’
