When I was planning this build, I wasn't happy at all with the mATX case options so Mini-ITX was my only solid option (I also insisted on having built-in wifi). If you think it is a piece of shit, don't use it if your not willing to pay for it. Go download one of the free Linux operating systems instead. You don't need a Windows OS to run a computer but it sure as hell is worth the measly price tag considering how much can do and how many hours will use it.

lol.. so protip: pea sized amount of thermal paste on cpu, heatsync will spread it around when you push it on there. too much thermal paste can be like a 10-20C idle temp difference. idk about that pre-applied thermal paste. i guess it eliminates the guesswork but there's usually quite a bit on there.
