Who needs sleep when you can game for 96 hours straight...

When I was planning this build, I wasn't happy at all with the mATX case options so Mini-ITX was my only solid option (I also insisted on having built-in wifi). The Phenom isn't unattractive, definitely, but it has horrible airflow, which was a problem for me (I planned on putting the thing in my entertainment center).

He never said he bought his rig, if they are too cheap to spend such a small amount on an OS or instead download or pick up one of the free Linux OS out there then the chance of them not spending hundreds or thousands on the hardware seems a higher probability. He is a thief plain and simple who thinks he is entitled

I don't think Lozzle was trolling for attention which most are talking about in this thread, he went too specific for that in his comment. I just believe he thought would get more support for his 'take without paying' ideology. I personally am glad about the huge array of replies and starring going on against his

Where is the analogy off? It is possible to steal an engine, and you can most certainly install it in a car. I guess the difference is that it's not simple enough for you? Your justification for stealing Windows is that it's easy and you can get away with it? Because otherwise your justification for stealing is

If you think it is a piece of shit, don't use it if your not willing to pay for it. Go download one of the free Linux operating systems instead. You don't need a Windows OS to run a computer but it sure as hell is worth the measly price tag considering how much can do and how many hours will use it.

Really? Because right now I want to reach through mine and back hand you. Just because you can take something that has a price without paying for it does not mean you should.

Of course people do including myself. Most people are not asses who go around taking things they never paid for and without permission especially when the thing is nothing more than a hobby for most, by proxy a luxury item.

So it has no value, but you need it. Think that through.

You are what's wrong with the world.

4 hours of linear gameplay for a new video game: $60

spoken like a true child.. Totally not worth it, OS is only the foundation upon which you use your computer. I mean i only use my OS thousands and thousands of hours a year, no way it's worth $100. Total waste. that's like 10 taco bells!

Just out of interest, why didn't you get an i5 4440?

lol.. so protip: pea sized amount of thermal paste on cpu, heatsync will spread it around when you push it on there. too much thermal paste can be like a 10-20C idle temp difference. idk about that pre-applied thermal paste. i guess it eliminates the guesswork but there's usually quite a bit on there.

As a person, their actions make me cringe. As a nurse, they make me furious. I cosign your professional opinion. Shitheads, indeed.

I sincerely hope that the licensing board(s) get involved with these asshats on a personal, professional basis.

As an MD, we typically bemoan the insane numbers of spurious lawsuits that we encounter on an almost-constant basis, but as my lawyers friend like to remind me, there are in fact actually times when people deserve to get their pants sued off.

And why shouldn't folks feel pride? Yes, PC gaming has a lot of benefits, but the act of putting together a computer for the first time feels like running the gauntlet. Of course people are going to boast about it after surviving it. Over the years, I've heard people say over and over that building a computer isn't

Dafuq is this person doing?

Haters gonna hate. Loved Far cry 3, Loved AC4, am enjoying Watch dogs despite it not being the E3 2012 demo. And might i remind kotaku that as far as i can remember your reviewers liked 2 out of those 3 games. Im not an ubisoft fanboy but come on this bashing is really being directed where it's not really necessary.
