I think the most likely thing is new gen performance, rather than old. I am definitely not in the camp that suspects collusion with Sony and Microsoft, since that's a pretty ridiculous idea. However, I can see that Ubisoft needs to do everything it can to avoid hindering sales of X1 and PS4, because they need millions

If you'd done as I suggested, which I just did, you'd see his LinkedIn also lists him as working on an unannounced project at Ubisoft Montreal, so it turns out that what he did wasn't even bridge-burning. Like I said, he was not fired.

He wasn't fired, he now works for Naughty Dog. His game was the first to use Anvil Next, the same engine as ACIV Black Flag and Freedom Cry (which still use many of his animations). Maybe this was the toughest animation job so far on Anvil Next, given that he had to coordinate the game afresh.

Yes, in all games ever. The glass in the cars reflects the world properly because it's a small panel, just like a bathroom mirror in GTA IV. You can't have reflective plate glass all over a city like Chicago yet without killing performance on almost every PC. They could have made carefully created pre-baked windows

FUCKING LOL. Because Evan sounds like a gangsta. I don't know, maybe he's not black enough.

I'm happy WD doesn't do it. It would spoil the gameplay they were introducing for the sake of aping part of GTA, and it makes GTA far too easy. I haven't played V, but IV allowed you to easily drive at top speed while pulling off headshots and destroying tyres of moving vehicles. I know everything in a game is absurd

Is that really true though? GTA IV had auto-aim/aim-assist on consoles, but the PC version had free aim and I expect GTA V will be free aim on PC too. I'm really not sure this is a compromise, although I also struggle to understand why it's a conscious decision for the console market either.

Why did Monty Python have that scene in their super-serious dramatic opus The Holy Grail, in which elite knights in armour are killed by a homicidal rabbit? That was absurd. Everyone knows rabbits are cute, and they don't kill armoured soldiers. I don't know what they were thinking. Ruined the whole thing. 0/10.

They are cute, but they're still dangerous. If they encounter animals that are too slow, trusting or injured to escape them, they'll still go for them. When farmland is established too close to their territories, pandas have been known to chase, kill and eat sheep. Which must be hilarious. Especially the chasing part.

I don't get that impression from him. Naughty Dog are not in heavy competition with Ubisoft, so he'll win no favours saying this. If anything, he was taking a risk to say what he did, given that it's generally not good form to publicly criticise a past employer and his actions are probably burning bridges with one of

That's another possibility, yes, but it could also be a simple choice, or a heartfelt desire to have children of his/her own. It's easy to think that everything is on a smooth upward march of progress towards the present day in terms of social equality, but it's quite a bit more messy than that. Depending on the time

Unity isn't about clones. There's a team of assassins, two and a quarter centuries ago, all male but all different. My "Arno" will be one of the other members of that team on your screen, but on my screen I'll be controlling the only Arno I see.

Sure, it doesn't have to be on the newest Abstergo equipment, assuming they have a working genetic sample, but we don't know whether we'll be using that in every game from now on. If it's a return to Rebecca Crane's chair next time, the genetic link is (I think?) still required.

lololololololol

Lots of gay men have kids because they get just as broody as their hetero counterparts, and the same goes for gay women. It's that simple. I know a lot of gay parents and have friends who are themselves the children of gay parents. Adoption doesn't necessarily satisfy that urge to raise kids, regardless of sexuality.

Yes there was. But nobody expects anything better from Rockstar, and the only thing that can relax Dan Houser's grip from the arms of the head writer chair is Dan Houser's ego, no matter how poor a job he does.

I'm not even saying the games are comparable: completely different order of complexity in the character models, for a start. I'm just using that as a very recent example to illustrate the principle of this. On my screen, I'd see my character as Arno, and on your screen you would see your character as Arno, but on my

To be fair, this is him both with short hair and in the past, but I'm posting it anyway because it amuses me that someone felt the need to gif-cap this:

Do you not read any other sites? Gameinformer, Polygon, and Gamespot have all been on this topic too, among others.
