Well, I hope you'll like it. It's not faultless, but it does so many things beautifully. It's only six episodes too, so it's not a huge time commitment if you do find it on Netflix etc, and there's a DVD/Blu Ray too.

Yeah, it just seems to put an awful lot of trust in the word of a guy who just caused the death of a baby in those circumstances. You'd think "voluntary manslaughter" would be for accidental killings where an unlucky bar fight punch kills someone, rather than this. I assumed that if another adult choked me out to…
Woah — "third degree murder"? That's the thing that doesn't really exist in legal terminology, and will be called "voluntary manslaughter" in court, right? As in "did not intend to kill"?
Interesting — thanks for that link, I hadn't read that before. Yeah, I think the director of The Krays went the right way with it, really. Given the choice of unflinching horror and the personal relationships of characters, I'm always more interested in the latter, and I agree that the world probably doesn't really…
Although it was a good film, it did feel quite stylised, if that's the right word (and it's not) by comparison with the anecdotes people tell about the Krays' behaviour. The Kemps' portrayal of the Krays made them appear to be much lighter, softer people than the real Krays: rather slow, heavy set men, as can be seen…
I hadn't thought about it before, but now I'm both angry and aroused.
It's probably not his fault that sliced apples remind me of school packed lunches. Oh wait, it is.
I saw a mouse there in little red underpants that left nothing to the imagination. And you could easily see his nipples.
These are not your only options, as a pop artist. You can make hundreds, thousands, millions of different videos, with millions of different characters, and anyone of any race could play any of them. The almost limitless ranges of fashion. If you come out with a cliché, people will call you on it for whatever reasons…
Kanye never said that. The stories came from a pack of fake quotes attributed to a Chicago radio interview, and it later transpired that this interview never actually took place. However, blog/celebrity news journalism being what it is, nobody actually checked on day one, and it sounded all fun and plausible to them…
Haha! Although, there's always that chance that the child genuinely wanted to know if the peep would taste of sorcery.
Indeed I do.
Evan, you tease. There was no twerking in this video. Not a trace.
I think the most interesting thing to me about all this is the social cohesion of this team... It seems like many ostensibly different personalities, and yet there was a large enough proportion of them who shared a great deal in common. Even as they were ripping themselves apart in the process of creating this thing,…
It's really strange research. The full wording of the question is on each page, with that same choice of three answers, so it divides the result on one side while unifying the negative responses. And there's no sense that the respondents were asked to weigh up the precise "best match" to their feelings here either.…
"Can I have a... :'("
I haven't played The Walking Dead, but I have been enjoying The Wolf Among Us. It's a melding of fairy tales and film noir, which makes for a good balance between light and dark. It turns navigating social situations into a gameplay mechanic, much more successfully than I've ever seen it done before.
:D I haven't read that many of the comics but I expect someone must have done a metaphysical Bat story at some time, with the suit as some kind of Venom-like creature in its own right. Too good an opportunity to pass up!
Very nice. I had to stop when the narrator entered the child's room, as I started to feel like I was at risk of seeing spoilers. Already sold on this!
