And I don’t know anyone who actually lives in the city of Cleveland that is actually happy about it. #pclife

It’s not. But neither are.

The Aztek did it too!

That’s interesting. I’m in Akron. You see a shit-ton of Harley’s, a few sport bikes, and vintage UJMs. Everything else is scarce. I used to have a Triumph, and it was neat that I might go an entire month without seeing another.

See, and I thought I was the only one who thought I look ridiculous in a full-face helmet and a Dainese jacket on my Softail Heritage, hahahahahaha.

This makes a ton of sense. I bought a used Heritage Classic 114 (FLHCS for any other Harley nerds out there) in January. It was a 2018 with 4400 miles and would have been ideal for this program. And, it would have made my decision a lot easier as part of it was wrestling with whether to get an extended warranty, not

I don’t know about other parts of the country, but in the mid-west, Harley is still king. Where I live, you see one non-Harley for every ten or twenty Harleys.

Not to mention Harley has a better reliability history than BMW or Triumph.

I think this depends on where you live. I work at a Mercedes-Benz dealer, and 2020 was the best year in our company’s history. We were not forced to close, however.

Best comment here. And I’ll be that guy right alongside you.

I will probably have a gas powered car forever. One my commute now is so short that it would never pay for itself. Also, I don’t really like screens and computers in my cars, so I tend to make my older cars last a LONG time. There will be clean, low mileage older cars on the market for a looooooong time.

Weird car. Cool car. Not worth $10k lol

This is actually a pretty decent price for what it is.

My area is like that too. I found out that the dealer I was going to go to closed 12/31. There are three powerhouse dealers all in the same greater area now which means they can charge more fees and “fix” pricing. I sell cars so I know the business so I have a fine line between not caring as long as it is fair as these

If you are tall and get a FatBoy, look into the Tallboy seat. I have it on my Heritage and the difference in room is amazing.

I have a LOT of friends that ride Harleys (and, admittedly, I just bought one). I honestly don’t know anyone who bought a Street. Supposedly they were fun to ride, but the riding position was crazy awkward. And....they just didn’t look “as cool” as a Sporty. I think that the Streets were supposed to bring younger

I wish Triumph wouldn’t have quit making the Thunderbird. I would have bought one if they still did. However, with my experience with owning a Triumph, the second that they discontinue a bike, they also discontinue accessories support. I learned that the hard way buying one of the last air cooled Bonneville’s.

Agreed. Triumph’s cheapest bike is what my T100 was only a few years ago. With the exception of the new Trident, they are all over $9000.

I just bought a Heritage Softail and I was kind of impressed that my salesman said his “solo” bike is a Sportster 48...he said he loves that thing.

Some of Lincoln’s concepts, notably the Mark 9 and MKR. Also that it took them nearly 15 years to build the Continental. They’d be in better shape if they’d actually, like, tried something.
