I adore this car. Almost as much as life itself....that murdered out, beautiful brougham. It looks like punk rock and the mafioso had a love child.

Ford could come out with a modern version of what could have been really cool.....the SHOstar.

You forgot any sort of American cars. I know a LOT of car-guys who have very little interest in non-American cars.

This is a 2020, not a 2019. ‘19's are the same as they have been.

I have a 93 Accord I got as sort of a daily-beater to see if I could get away with not leasing another car.....and I’m kind of in love with it. You can, like, see out of it. And I have plenty of room (I’m 6'3") and I’m NOT staring at B-pillar when I look sideways (why I always bought two-door C-Class’s).

This is the year my beloved AMC Eagle gets the work she’s been waiting for.

I’d rock this.

Actually, the better statement would be “Yeah, but this is a Ford...it will still be running in five years when the Benz was on owner three and had a $10k shop bill.”

No where did you answer that it is actually the government’s responsibility. Not to mention, that is regulating the activity of a company. Not the products it places on the free market which consumers are free to buy or not buy

My tastes haven’t changed, but my eyesight has gotten richer. In high school I had three cars (not at the same time). I like big four doors or any size two door and lots of chrome. First I had a 1987 Mark VII then a 1997 Grand Marquis (with a mock top, stainless wheel lips and white stripe tires...) There was a 1983

My AMC Eagle is EXACTLY the same way. I was thinking of selling it. Growing up. Why have a somewhat rusty, somewhat unreliable SUVish-station wagon sitting in your driveway? Because its AWESOME! I started driving it more before *almost* selling it to a friend to work out some kinks. And, I fell in love with it all

“Using his work for immigrant families to boost his political ambitions is even worse given his opposition to abolishing ICE.”

I would just like to have CAFE scrapped. Manufacturers should build cars that people want instead of being forced to offer what the government says they must sell.

Why is it any responsibility of the government to create a mandate for gas mileage in the first place?

The Panther platform. It was the last of its kind. Last body on frame RWD car. It could be a muscle car. It could be a floating, bench seat simulation-convertible topped Uncle Dick and Aunt Marge car (who now have nothing to buy). And, a badass cop car. It was a car for everybody that loves “real retro” and RWD. And,

One would have needed to hit the crack pipe to build this ‘thing’, and its price is equally worthy of the tinfoil apparatus to ingest such drug.

Now I have an 85 Wagon and years ago I had an 84 Wagon. Good to meet you!

The new GLS needs to be not just good, but freaking amazing, because unfortunately if it is not, this will eat its lunch and dollars. Say what you will about it, but this thing will simply print money.

Hi from another 2x AMC Eagle Owner :)

My AMC Eagle has fallen into a LOT of these reasons. Yet, I haven’t given up on Old Beast yet. Its always been an extra car, but in the time I’ve had it, I’ve had a: 2011 Toyota Camry, 1995 F-150, 1988 Town Car, 2007 Town Car, W204 coupe, W205 coupe. I clearly love my AMC Eagle, hahaha
